I personally don’t have any beef with that genre, but Battlefield was never a Hero Shooter. So seeing it as one in 2042 makes me feel as if Dice is leaving there core fanbase in the dust. But hey, at least we have Portal! And if not that, BF4, Hardline, 1, V, 3, etc. Edit: ok I forgot Battlefield Heros existed

My biggest problem with 2042's music isn't that it's not heroic or anything. Depressing and apocalyptic vibe fits the game perfectly but the music itself just doesn't sound nearly as good as it could. There are hundreds of post apocalyptic movies, games and TV shows with much better soundtrack while still capturing the melancholic atmosphere of the world perfectly.
I personally want to see how the other nation ended up siding with whom. After all CoD BO3 did this by making the world divided by Winslow Accord and CDP
