Eli has to be the QB with most dropped passes, even with that playing against him he managed to get 2 chips. Hall of famer without a doubt.
giants have a tendency to constantly have receivers that make plays or make drops, there seems to be no in between, but I may just be biased. Granted, a lot of passes in this game were high or behind too

I was 5 years old when this game came on and I remember how excited me and my dad was. Soon to turn 21 and I must say it was a pleasure to have Eli as our QB
Eli will always be my quarterback. Stuck with him through the good and bad and it was very important to me to see him play one more time in Metlife.

I’ll never forget this game, bought tickets for my fathers birthday few weeks ahead of time (really wanted to see Vick IRL) but was even more excited because coughlin pulled Warner out this very week. Although ATL defense wasn’t bad, giants o-line was horrendous that season. (Kurt got sacked like every other play) So many dropped passes. I’ll never forget the roughing the passer penalty on Osi umeniyora, Vick jumped flying in the air somersault flip, it was a very questionable call tbh, crowd did NOT like it and the ref got to hear the “a-hole” chant! This was my freshman college year and made for a fun fall. It was an honor and historic night.

Im a giants fan but eli has only had like 3 or 4 good years out of 15. 2 of those turned into superbowls obviously but sometimes he is just painful to watch. No mobility, no accuracy, no strength, and no awareness.

Oh that would be a great idea for a video. I remember that's how they marketed it in the week leading up to this game....but you did a nice job with this. Not too many tapes of this lying around. Really brought me back to a time when QB's were considered elite for throwing just 3500 yds and 30 tds (Manning, Culpepper, McNabb)

Eli is still a solid QB, better o line this year awesome RB and TE, Shepard and Tate, ...defense i am worried about, a boat load of picks this year, They scored the most points in the NFC east last year and lost a lot of close games. Not all of it was Eli's fault, and i would rather have him as my QB then Rosen or Darnold.....oh and the cancer is gone!

Lots of passes thrown behind the receivers. Eli could not hit them in stride. He was not very accurate...only 48% completion percentage as a rookie.
Matt most of those passes looked pretty accurate to me and they were in the hands everytime Just about. They're were numerous drops on catchable balls and the offensive sucked dick.
And lots of time he had a 40+ yard TD that was made by the receiver. It goes both ways.

Well let's see he has the most wins, most playoff wins, most completions, most Super Bowl MVPs, most game winning drives, most playoff game winning drives, most passing touchdowns, & most passing yards in the history of the NFC East.

Out of 14 years, he's only had 7 winning seasons, been a top 10 QB 3 times, and been on the NFL Top 100 (started eight years ago) 3 times. At 1-4 this season, he's currently 4-16 in his last 20 game and Sunday was the first time in almost two years that they scored at least 30 points. And in the last two years, almost every win was by a TD or less. Led the league in interceptions 3 times (once with an astronomical 27), was shut out 4 times in 3 years. Once shut out in the playoffs. Once didn't even complete a single pass past the 50 yard line and has had a zero passer rating. Twice gone almost 3 games without a TD. He may have longevity stats, but he was never the best. Now, if you really want me to blow your mind, I'll do a direct comparison to Tony Romo on personal performances. This is really eye opening.

Just 08 when they started 10-1. They were running over people that year.
His career and the Giants during the Eli era will always have that inconsistent label. His career record is 500. I remember a few seasons even in the better years when they were 6-2 or 5-3 and then faded in the 2nd half. 09, 10, 11, 12 should have been playoff seasons. 06 they got in at 8-8, but I believe they started 6-2. But yes the last 6 years they totally blew and wasted so many of his years.

That ball does look like it comes out faster and harder than it does now. I still think he can play. He just needs solid play all around him. @Jonathan Chiarkas Hate? Nothing but respect for Eli for holding onto his job for 16 years with basically lifelong backup stats. After all, his average standings in the passer rating was 18th. Not even the top half. He never led any QB stat, except interceptions, which he did 3 times. He was a pro bowler 4 times in 16 years. A passer rating in the top 10 once in 16 years. He was never even the best QB in the NFC East in 16 years. He has a lot of totals, but only because of a long career. That is not a good QB. 2 SB MVPS? lolololololol Anyone with an ounce of football knowledge knows that Eli didn't win those SBs, it was the defense shutting down Brady. Eli had very little to do with it.
No All Pros, no playoff wins outside of his two Super Bowls, missed playoffs more than qualified.

@@Spaceman0715 The only reason Eli has an MVP is that you can't give it to the entire defense. Then it goes to the QB by default most of the time. Eli only won because of a lot of luck, especially when he was not on the field. Not the mark of a great player.

There was definitely some luck like a lot of players have but he played lights out in the playoffs. Will never come close to Peyton but he played great in the playoffs the 2 years they won the Super Bowl.
