My mouth literally dropped open when you held up that incredibly gorgeous intricately embroidered crazy quilt. The fact that women made beautiful pieces of art like this to decorate their homes in their spare time blows my mind!! Its a jem you're so lucky! Im so jealous 😭
Wipe yo mouth Lil bro that was wild glazing they ain't gonna let u smash or hit Lil bro zip up your mouth close it when your done that was wild slurping 😭😭😭😭🙏
Hi Natalie! Just a suggestion on the shrunken wool sweater… There’s an old hack where you soak the shrunken item in a little tub of cool water and a cap full of hair conditioner. Then rinse it, roll it in a towel to get most of the excess water out and lay it out to dry, stretched back to original size. Usually that works. Hope that helps!
If a mishappening in washing wool to warm and the clothing gets shrunken, you can soak it in conditioner and bit by bit stretch out the fabric. It may not be worth doing on a thrifted (cheaper) item, but if it ever happens to one of your favorite sweaters, it works, a bit time consuming though.🌸 15:57
Omg those jackets I LOVEEE! And that quilt!! That was a good day at the bins! I too have sadly shrunk a wool sweater!☹️ There’s videos on how to stretch it somewhat back to shape.
Totally understand!! #1 I typically let things sit in my car trunk for a day or two. It’s usually pretty hot here in Texas so the high heat would kill things. But I know it always isn’t THAT hot but it’s a habit. Then I bring things in throw all washable items immediately in the wash. But for non washable I usually steam. You can steam most things especially if turned inside out but definitely read the labels! Then the outside of leather I wipe down with dawn dish soap and let air dry. Condition if needed. You can get disinfecting sprays Let me know if that helps! I typically just google how to clean things if I’m unsure.
I just adore this style and your vlogs too!! You’re so addictive 🫶🏻 I want to come with you next time hehe I loved the fabric quilt you found too such a treasure! Love you lots beautiful lady 🩷🧡💛 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Please wear rubber/latex/vinyl gloves while digging through the bins because I know someone who picked up hand, foot, and mouth disease while digging through the bins at Goodwill. Stay safe! I just randomly came across your channel and I live in Houston so I am going to subscribe! You have some great finds!
I used to love to go to my Goodwill, but they have started putting all the sizes together, and you can't even try things on anymore. It's not worth the trouble looking threw every size.
Nooo! Aesthetically, I love color-sorted thrift stores, but practically, I prefer when items are sorted by size. Our Goodwill Select stores still sort by size and have fitting rooms. If you go thrifting and they don’t have fitting rooms, I like to wear athletic clothing like leggings, so I can try things on over my clothes.
IF you did want to sell the beaded silk jacket, use a picture of you wearing it, and you should be able to get between $125- $175. It looks so good on you. Maybe you could wear the thin brown(ish) shirt as a under layer?
IMO: I cannot understand how you can try in the stuff especially at the family thrift outlet. 😖 I just walk in and my whole body feels itchy. It’s dirty dirty
I was like wait I don’t think they were in the room when I was filming….BUT they were definitely in the living room with the new finds 🫶 they are very FLOOF
@@ladonnabarker2983 yes! I do resell some. I had stepped away from it because it was overwhelming to manage along with work, content, and just life. My videos don’t necessarily focus on reselling as I thrift 95% of my own wardrobe.
@@dannlinscott-dunham4027 I didn’t think so first either! I just saw that on a listing so that’s why I thought maybe?? BUT it gave me some good styling ideas with it 🤩

I’m didn’t love the silk beaded blazer until I saw how you paired it!! Now I’m on the hunt for one 😍

Isn’t it just amazing. If it wasn’t so flawed around the edges I would just leave it be.
@@CuratedbyNatalie it's so beautiful and special. I would be so tickled to find that in a bin. LUCKY!!!!

Canadian tuxedo!!! ❤
In Canada, denim on denim is our uniform, which we call a "Canadian tuxedo" 🤣
Love the green bag! "Canadian tuxedo" is the term for an all-denim outfit.
Thank you! Ah yes Tuxedo! I was blanking.
If your living room seems dark, try incorporating a big mirror, ideally with lamps on each side of it.
Yes! I have a full length mirror but need to get some light next to it.

You should keep everything you got for yourself! Everything looks great on you and super cute! ❤
That silk beaded jacket is soooo beautiful 😍!!!
It’s stunning!!!
How do you clean/disinfect items like the beaded and leather jackets? I pass over those type of items because vintage is often musty and fear of bugs

I prefer vintage men's or young men's jeans. Also, ladies tall because I'm long waisted.

The trouble with finding cheap clothes is you end up with a wardrobe full of things you don't especially like.
