Unfortunately the CHIMMP virus can enter via the open eyes because the surface of the eyes are just like the nose and the throat, they are all mucous membranes. The face shields won't protect a person from swirling airborne micro-droplets in the air, only a proper fully sealed protection can do that. It's my theory that the rationale behind the face shields is to prevent or discourage people from touching their faces with their hands which might have made contact with a surface that is contaminated with the virus. Sorry for the long explanation but it would be difficult to explain in less words.

Yeah, I tried to use a fish net once to stop mosquito's from attacking me. That didn't work too well either.
Just find a Darth Vader helmet or a Storm Trooper helmet (if that's more your thing).
Buy one of those cheesy ones that says Faceshield on top along the Blue strip on top.
