BRO I FIX THAT... TOOK IT PART AND FIND OUT THAT SOME OF THE CABLES ARE DAMAGE... WHEN U TAKE KEYBOARD OFF U WILL SEE THOSE FLAT CABLES AND THERE IS THE PROBLEM...U CANT TRY TO DISCONNECT, CLEAN THE SOCKET AND CABLE AND CONNECT AGAIN....IF IT DOESNT HELP THEN NEED TO BE REPLACE ONE BY ONE....COZ PROBLEM IS IN THE CONNECTION...BUT IT CAN BE ALSO MOTHERBOARD CONNECTION, CABLE CONNECTION ETC....REALLY HARD TO FIND WHERE EXACTLY IS THE PROBLEM
Ive noticed the same problem over the last few months and Ive come to the conclusion that this Probook dosnt like to hibernate. Lots of little problems, not just the keyboard appear to resolve itself when the computer is shut down and started up each time.
Same issue 4545s Fixed... Take the keyboard screws out loosen the keyboard then turn it on and see if that works. I believe that it works because the screws are too tight on the keyboard.
This is STILL an ongoing issue with new HP laptops. I have had this same problem with 4 seperate 6560b's and HP still deny there is an issue. I'm not going to sell these machines anymore. And as the only other option is to upsell to teh elite book but this is not an acceptable work-around.
Have an HP M6. Same problem = Bottom line HP are cr@ppy machines. And HP are not customer friendly at all. I intend to replace my HP, and will never do this mistake of buying HP again.
Hi, 3 months and no progress, problem is unknown to HP, they changed me a keyboard on laptop, but problem still exists. See here: h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-HP-Compaq-Slate-Tablet/HP-ProBook-4720s-Keyboard-problem/td-p/2303252
In case someone found this vid cuz he had a different problem with the keyboard of this laptop: Sometime it switches to some other mode. The keys are not under the right buttons anymore. This is simply "ctrl-shift" I hope it helps.
