    Colombia is famous for its arepas and specialty coffee, as well as the kindness of its people. It's known for its diverse landscapes and culturally rich heritage where art, music, and theater mix.

    I’ve been to Columbia number of times not a big fan of Bogota.. barranquilla Medellin and Santa Marta I like the best..But with any of them try to stay in the areas mostly for tourist and avoid sketchy spots.. but my utmost favorite is Santa Marta.. airbnb‘s are great hotels are fairly cheap and reasonable many things to do mini tours and most of them are good and reasonable priced I have found

    Hi love this video!
    I know this is a bit off topic but what does one carry around with them for ID, if they don't have a Cedula ID and passport is dangerous to carry ?
    I am coming to Colombia for 6 months on a Tourist visa or Student visa.
    Carrying a passport isn't safe, so could I just make a photo copy of the passport and get it laminated? Or should I get Cedula ID for only 6 months?
    Thank you!!

    • @COLOMBIAFRANK
      @COLOMBIAFRANK  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I think the danger to carry a passport is to loose it. Just make a copy in a corner shop, costs you nothing. If it is worn out after 2 month, make another copy

    Just don't go there to begin with.After 4 weeks of holiday in Bello, Envigado, el Poblado, Medellin, I got out of Colombia. What place not all but many people are out to find ways to scam you out of as many pesos as possible. Tried the airbnb in 3 different locations one infested with cockroach the other was threaten by the host son in the next apt for complaining about the music at 3am 5-6 nights a week and the last was a total scam listed an address for a decent location apt. but was brought to a completly different address at the time of checking in. Not to mention being ripoff by almost all the taxi drivers and short changed by many vendors. Sept. 12, 2023 to mid Oct. 2023.
