From Libya, thanks man.. it worked
Great to hear 👍
Good job 😊
Thank you 🙏
Another great, short video. Wow, you have a lot of projects going on!
Good fix, but it seems kinda crazy to have to 'reset' an instrument cluster.
I'll keep this in mind should I ever buy an E46..
Yeah, I was skeptical myself at the start but it's done the trick. Thanks for your support buddy 👍
Great video! 💪👌✌️👏🔥
Thank u :)
I Ve no more access to the véhicule (open doors and Lights front and back to change). I Ve to do that to fix or it can be about the battery to change? Thanks for answer
Sorry bro cannot help you with that. Can one one of our viewers help with a comment?
Do you think this will help with my cluster, it works but shows only like half of the text and miles on it.
Sounds like the display maybe busted, but this doesn't cost anything and it's quick to do so definitely worth a try.
Thanks
Welcome 😀
Had same issue yesterday, all powers n ground are making it to the cluster but its just dead. Bad cluster
Possibly a component burnt out on the circuit board. The clusters are quite cheap unless yours is from an M3.
My cluster is dead but my air bag lights on fuses are good what could it be Speedo dosint work but the back light lights up when I turn my lights on at night what could it be
The other day my instrument cluster apart from abs light and also radio stopped working, any ideas
might be worth while to check for error codes using an OBD II scanner
@@andyking05 I brought a new cluster works good now but still got a air bag fault
Will be trying my luck with this soon. Sadly engine doesnt start and I have a dead cluster. Pulled fuses already which were all good but being that I've not bee able to turn over the engine it makes me wonder if it needs to receive engine RPM then turn off then turn back on to fully reset if not pulling the cluster to look for burns. Really weird car/ process.
Check to see the state of your battery too to make sure it's got good charge. For me I think the battery also contributed to the problem
Hope you resolve your issue 😀
If I get a used cluster would it have to be programmed to the car for it to run?
No I believe these clusters are not that advanced yet, just keep an eye on the speedo to make sure the max speed is the same as on yours
No you dont need, just buy the same brand, if your clustar is motometer or bosch , just buy the same, and 4cyl-6cyl works fine ,mayde you will have a bit different reading in rpm (at red line) if you put 6cyl to a 4cyl car/engine but thats it.
Is there any particular order to put the fuses back in
No particular order required, I did it from the lowest to the highest number
How many Time did you still after remove your fuse
I reinstalled the fuses within 5min after removal.
@@4WheelBuilds 5mn within, the engine and still on or off
@@user-oc1zf9sj7p engine off
My lights blinker light and speedometer lights don’t come on at night it’s a rare ocassion when they do anyone know ?
Check you grounds and your battery terminal connections, this would be a suggestion to start with. Anyone else had this issue and fixed it?
I have the same problem. Should I do this while the vehicle is running
Yes, you can do this while the car is running, if the instrument cluster does not respond try switching the car off and with the fuses removed
Would I be able to do the same with my 228i 2015 ?
Not quite sure if the 2015 model uses the same fuses for the instrument cluster
what you doing 4:50 ?? can you write me please ? i have same problem
Yeah, just put all fuses back and trying to start the car, not doing anything special.
@@4WheelBuilds 10,34,43 or all of them?
