In episode #3 of the pond tours we go to two completely different ponds. The first pond is set at a retirement home ( Country Estates Retirement Home) where the residents just love sitting out at the pond taking in the sights and the sounds of the huge Waterfalls and beautiful pond with amazing lilies and other plants. This pond is planted and has goldfish.
One of their vibrant residents is a 104 years old ( Frida) Percy a Canadian Military Vet is the life of the party there.
The second pond we look at is set at a beautiful English garden with a beautiful lily pond. Wendy our hostess is a wonderful English Lady who takes us our showing us all her beautiful plants and even tries to teach me the formal names of the plants.
We had some technical issues and had to return to finish filming
She was so graceful about it.
Work 15 minutes break for 2 hours... The work life balance I aspire to achieve😂 I have seen the pond at the retirement home it is fantastic. Loved the English garden, she seemed like a lovely lady. Great stuff Chris, always great to see Sandra. She classes the whole thing up👍
Thanks so very much buddy..
Absolutely loved both tours. Every retirement home should have a pond. The English garden was beautiful, I really loved it. ❤
Thanks so much Christine I appreciate it retirement home Pond was especially nice and I did like the English garden thank you for your continued support but most of all your friendship
I love this. This is amazing 😍
Thank you my dear friend
The first pond is so beautiful, that pond is so therapeutic for the elderly at that retirement home, wow 104 God bless her, love all the flowers around the second pond, very natural looking.
Text Greg I appreciate it over the next few weeks so I'll be able to show some really nice goldfish ponds I hope love them with my fish in them just at different places
@@stubbsaquatics6080 Can't wait.
Beautiful ponds and gardens! Great to see them attracting those insects and the potential water dwellers.
Thanks so much the king of plants!!!!
Cool. Spread the good
Thanks DJ been a while
Great video. So nice to see the retirement home residents being able to get out and enjoy the pond and the time with each other. The English garden was quite something and I'm pleased to say I actually recognized some of the flowers which for me is pretty good. 🤣 Looking forward for the next tour. 👍🏻
Well I did recognize a few but nothing like what she was able to say and recognize I hope that you would like the English tour that retirement home Pond is pretty cool definitely a good spot for the residents to sit around
Nice video
Thanks so much my friend
Another great tour. I love the lush gardens and ponds.
Thanks a lot Scott
Excellent ponds and gardens Stubbs. Thanks for sharing 😊
Thanks Jeff I really like doing these tours
@@stubbsaquatics6080 I have been enjoying you doing the tours
Beautiful spot for the residents.
Love the local tours ! 😃👍
I also loved the English garden. I guess this is sorta my style. ❤ The lady was so charming. I could have listened to her for hours. 😊
I sent your comment to her. It really touched her
Thanks buddy
Love the shirt!
It's me lol
NIce!
Love that pond at the retirement home. Can easily see why they love sitting out there and enjoying the sounds of water and seeing the nature all around them.
The English garden at Wendy’s was so lovely. So many varieties of plants and flowers she has there. Truly a delight seeing it all.
Thanks Chris for once again sharing these beautiful ponds with us all. Great video as always! 😊👍
Thanks so much Maureen.
It was good to see the residents enjoying the pond
Loved the English garden
What a lovely couple of ponds Chris & Sandra it was lovely to see both 👍👍🚀🚀
Thanks Dave appreciate it bro
That pond was so nice. And the waterfall is phenomenal ❤ I would love some of those red water lilies. 😊
Thanks. They are nice. I had some but they didn't make it
How beautiful for residence to have a pond and a space to enjoy outdoors. I wish this was a common practice at all care homes!
Wouldn't that be nice!!
That is a nice pond, and the people are awesome, 104yrs old is an awesome age to reach for sure.
It sure is Gabe
My fav duo ! Great tours ! 👍👍
Awww
What a lovely video you have made of our pond and garden, Chris! I love the video of the retirement home garden, too.
First of all I want to say thank you for watching and commenting I really appreciate it it's being a lifelong Lindsay residence nice to meet another that retirement home is something special the residents really seem to like it there which is rare and have a pond like that makes it that much more special
all the different colors at the english garden are pretty darn cool.
I think so too
Great video, was awesome to see you and your daughter, Sandra!
Smart ass 😁😂
What a beautiful pond at the retirement home. I love the garden, thank you for the tour!
Thanks so much 👍. I appreciate it my friend
Chris very very nice! 😊 I am loving these videos of the different ponds! Thank you & Sandra!
I really like doing these tours Donald I'm glad that you like them
@@stubbsaquatics6080 it comes across that way too! You can tell you are enjoying it! I am 71 & I enjoy the beauty & the way people have their ponds! Thanks again!
Hi Chris, wow that 1st pond is beautiful.. I really love it. The English garden and natural pond is also spectacular. I love your shirt!! Thanks for sharing 👍
I had hoped that you would like the English garden as for the pond and the retirement home I really enjoyed it and I'm sure the residents did too
That waterfall at the old folks home is something else. Perhaps you need to learn some posh plant names for future tours. Eating nasturtiums is ab old remedy for hayfever. I also think that Sandra might want to keep her hands to herself before you get banned!
@@Gilsfishroom 😂.. she is bad
Love the pond at the retirement home, such a nice waterfall and those deep pink waterlilies are gorgeous! Wow, 104! I think Rainey wants a shirt like yours 😂. If I ever go to live at a retirement home, I want it to have a pond. Great shot of the frog jumping onto the lily!
Really enjoyed Wendy's gardens, too. I especially liked the Japanese anemone and the elderberry. Pretty cats.
Thanks for sharing some more great tours with us! 🙂👍
Like someone else said I think they should almost be mandatory at a retirement home just so they can get that comfort and feeling of being one with nature I'm sure it does a lot for their mind and their soul Speaking of that you can't get much better soul and heart than yours, thank you my friend
Great video and ponds 👍👍👍
Thanks Curtis. Glad you liked it
Really nice looking ponds
Thanks a lot pal
Beautiful ponds on both
Great video 👍👍
Ty for watching my true friend!
Your pond looks very clear
It's coming along right?
get your hand off my arse lol. nice nature pond, love the lillies. liked the hight of the waterfall at the home. very nice. cheers mate 👍
I know eh Marcus 😂😂😂
Beautiful. I am a retired resident in Lindsay. I hope to be in this place sometime in the future.
I'm a retired resident here as well and I certainly is a beautiful spot what a great spot to retire
Great tour Stubbs! Loved the gardens and ponds 👍
Thank you very much for Australian friend
Great video Chris. Always nice to see nice ponds. You where right, but wrong. All newts are salamanders, but not all salamanders is newts. Confusing isn't it. Here we call them all salamanders. Much easier.😀👍
The way I remember it as baby salamanders were called newts but as they developed they moved to land.
Lol
@@stubbsaquatics6080 There may be linguistic differences in common names in different parts of the world. Like that all countries in the whole world call annanas an annanas except for englis and hindi where it is called a pineapple.🤣🤣
Amazing tour chris looks amazing
Thanks guys
Yes country estates water feature is great, too bad the shrubs and roses are gone and it’s not as peaceful and private as it used to be.
Once the tree came down it changed a lot of their privacy
Great tours Chris, I think everyone should have some sort of pond in their lives. I may only have a Rubbermaid tub but I enjoy just sitting outside by them and just watching.
The microphone placement on your shirt had me thinking for a minute. Doesn’t that hurt 😂
Great video my friend
Sorry if you got some visions in your head with the microphone placement there is therapy out there and I apologize for that I totally agree about the having some kind of water in your life whether it is a fish tank a Rubbermaid tub or pond just to sit by relax it really is truly calming for the soul and for the spirit
@@stubbsaquatics6080 😂
Thanks for the awesome tour man some of the homes that the company I run the wellness program for have pretty extensive gardens like this too in ponds and what not one of the ones I’m going to in two days in Columbus supposedly has some sort of waterfall pond inside if I have time, I’ll try to make a short of it or something
Oh that would be awesome. I think it's important to have a water feature for ones physical and mental health
hey you let her hand be there all she wants.
all the different colors at the english garden are pretty darn cool.
They really are nice
hey you let her hand be there all she wants.
