I understand the fascination with Sacha and what it must be like to be married to someone who does what he does, but I really wish more interviewers would focus more on Isla herself, because she is so fascinating as well. They're a wonderful couple, but beyond that, they are wonderful individuals.

Plus, maybe some people don't know she's Borat's wife - and might go watch her movie just because they like Borat. Normally she would spend time telling stories about herself (they don't only talk about their movie the whole time anyway) and in this case she got to talk about her husband. I think it makes her more lovable, to know how close she is with Borat, that she was so passionate about one of his jokes 🥰

Sacha Baron Cohen’s projects are all outstanding...He is a brilliant man; with a heart, who has entertained us for over 2 decades. His characters leave me awestruck. Most importantly, through Borat, & "Who Is America? " he phenomenally & naturally allows others to freely reveal their horrible perception & hate towards those who are different, from them. Isla is delightful. Being given a ventriloquists' dummy at a young age helps to explain why she has such a good sense of humour 😅😅😅. Jimmy could have asked how the settling in process is going. Isla's family (Sacha and their children) have only recently moved to Australia and having to get house organised and kids settled into a new school whilst trying to promote a movie must be challenging. If Isla was agreeable to such a question it would have helped to keep the focus on her rather than Sacha.

It’s the best. I had Christmas in Holland and I thought 💭 this is weird. I need to be outside. Pool or beach 🏝 mates place. No place like home. Or where you feel home is. One of my biggest regrets in life is that I was in Sydney and I never got to see a summer Christmas, I had to return just before Christmas.🙄
