Bajirao I (18 August 1700 - 28 April 1740), born as was the 7th Peshwa of the Maratha Confederacy. During his 20-year tenure as a Peshwa, he defeated Nizam-ul-Mulk at several battles like the Battle of Palkhed and Battle of Bhopal. Bajirao contributed to Maratha supremacy in southern India and northern India. Thus, he was responsible for establishing Maratha power in Gujarat, Malwa, Rajputana and Bundelkhand and liberating Konkan (in the western coast of India) from the Siddis of Janjira and Portuguese rule. FOUGHT ABOUT 48 BATTLES IN LIFE AND NEVER DEFEATED

Of course no words for Shrimant Sarkar Bajirao's bravery.He was one of the great souls.Despite living a small life of 40 years he rules in the heart of Bhartiya people.He set a great example of a worrier,a leader and an administrator.His history itself is motivation for present generation.

In India colors are thrown for everything even if someone top in state or district exam it is not always holi and that yellow was actually termeric powder which is used very predominantly in Maharashtra from where I am and bajirao was also from there that yellow termeric powder we called Bhandara...

Bajirao was a real warrior in ancient india.faught 41 battles nd won all.he was not a king bt an commander of marathas.he defeated islamic invaders who used to rule india nd created maratha empire which stretched from south india to heartland of pakistan.bec of this guy,hindus still exist in india.historic records say he was a very serious guy nd nobody even saw him smile bt bollywood made him dance
