That’s awesome that the full tower was in there! I hope the move’s going well. Must be kind of a hassle with the store

Whoa! 😮 didn’t even think twice about the name on the bag. Wonder what the story is there

Hey Seattle born and raised here... it's really not that gray here. But Seattle does take sports seriously.... but I am a major introvert and they always talk to me... ugh.

Maybe it’s basis of comparison. I was Phoenix raised so Seattle felt like living in a cave haha - maybe now I’ve been in Chicago so long, the overcast difference wouldn’t feel so dramatic.

On the subject of filming on the phone, I’d love to see how you actually hold it while filming in stores and at yard sales. I’ve tried but can’t seem to get past the idea that it screams “I AM FILMING, SEE THE PHONE?” Your videos are always landscape, do you film that way or crop/rotate in editing?

Film landscape, but that’s cuz it’s intended for TH-cam. I also get the anxiety of people seeing me film - more so at yard sales than thrift stores. I hit record and hold it close to my chest/stomach as inconspicuously as possible.

@@TravisMarsala I have not bought it [yet?] but there is a very small "action" cam that another channel uses [travel channel - Walk with me Tim] and while he does carry it on a selfie stick a lot, you don't have to. It is very, very small! I am in the anti-GoPro camp as everyone who has bought one that I know IRL or online, has had major issues with it; losing footage, hardware breaking, lots of troubleshooting, etc. And these are not extreme sports kinda folks - mainly people who hike or have Lego cities and were using it on trains or just to tour their Lego room.
Anyway, the camera is a DJI Pocket 2. I feel like it would clip on a backpack very well, or even a t-shirt pocket. Or probably best - in your pants pocket - unsure if waist-level garage sale videos would work well - but an easy way to test is to use a swivel belt phone older and clip it to your pants/shorts near the pocket. Not that you need the added expense, but just a couple of ideas for the future. I did watch a few videos from a TH-camr who buys shoes and whenever he goes into a Goodwill with his girlfriend, he has the full on chest harness. For me, I am right there with you - I don't like calling attention to myself at all. I'm friendly in person, but wear plain t-shirts 95% of the time [though my cap does have a Maine logo and stuff on it as I like that state - hiked all the way up there from GA! but thankfully not many will stop to ask me about Maine. And if they do I just tell them I hiked the AT to there and it was a beautiful state :) ].
