The year was 1977 (7yrs old) and I snuck off to church with a childhood friend in Ft Jackson SC. I was a buck tooh skinny cotton white haired white boy wearing shorts cowboy boots and a vest with an old black outlaw cowboy hat...my mom looked all around for me and when she heard from a neighbor say she saw me get on the church bus she was so embarrassed when she got to the church and they said honey let that boy be..he got the Jesus in him....luv that old soul and gospel music still today and I'm 52 today
I woke up in tears this morning..... I've been struggling with depression really bad... Lord Jesus please watch over me.. I remembered this song from church growing up... I needed this in my life.God bless all🙌

Keep your head up! Occupy yourself with one simple thing that you enjoy doing everyday. Steal away and do that when time permits. Its funny how things can change and perspectives can change in due time. I'll also add to check your vitamin D levels...when mine are low they worsen the periods of depression I have.

My son and I haven’t talked since November 2022. We had a terrible argument. I text him every week with a painful response every now and then from him. Today I texted him and he responded to leave him the hell alone. I told him that I will NEVER stop loving him and I will NEVER stop praying. I told him that I will honor his request and that he will always be my son and I will always be his mother 😢. I’m heartbroken BUT I’m NOT discouraged. In the name of Jesus we will be reconciled 😇

There were times the enemy tried to cause strife. 🙏🏾 pray for my son he is dealing with a lot of buried pain and explodes in anger 😡 over things that he shouldn’t. We played this at church for my late husband's Celebration of Life in April. It was really comforting. We also lost my young niece in February and I think it helped comfort the family.

Amen! My son and I isn't talking to one another. I had a knee replacement surgery he hasn't come to check on me. We stay 20 mins apart. But I am not giving up. Cause we serve an awesome God! He can do all things. My prayer is that God reconcile us back together.
