Postwar lionel was built to last and repair if necessary. Other toys of that era not so much. Tinman third rail has these upgraded to the latest circuit breaker and much more. I would not hesitate getting one from them if I really wanted one.

Those old ZWs can power a small city😂 if they are good enough for Gomez Addams they're good enough for me.
