    From Diablo to Path of Exile,
    An ARPG always online hack and slash looter... That has the aura of an MMO. And that is just the wording I need to play and review it.
    But just like my reviewing skills, the lines may be blurred. But here's my thoughts and experience with Path of Exile.

    I absolutely love the recent influx of "new player getting into PoE" content. It's very, very nostalgic and refreshing to see the game from the perspective many of us have lost years ago :D With all the content in the game I think we early adopters had it so, so easy :D

    • @DyingLegacy

      Ye may have had it easy, but use newbies get a sense of never ending content! And it always feels new

    As someone who just started PoE a couple weeks ago, I feel this review is extremely accurate to the non-veteran Poe players. It feels smooth, it feels like there is a clear path of power once you finally understand the passive tree and gems, and the combat is not clunky. Just got a character into mid-endgame stuff, and man the power fantasy is so good

    • @DyingLegacy

      ARPG's should always be about the power fantasy, and POE nails that, it starts nailing that before the end of act 1, never mind midway through. Which really gives you that incentive to keep going, I have now swapped it to my main arpg

    Stash tabs are very close to power; you could absolutely play the campaign without them but it's fair to say that it's a 30-70 hour trial period before you decide whether to buy the special stash space that makes the end game playable.

    • @DyingLegacy

      That's very fair! I wasn't sure how necessary they'd actually be. I'll know myself properly when I get to end game

    Why don't these types of games allow you to make customizable characters? Seems like a few different faces and multiple different colors of skin and voices would allow anyone to make their own character

    • @DyingLegacy

      It was function over form at the time I believe

    • @DyingLegacy

      But I agree, I prefer to customizer my own and it stopped me from playing poe for quiet a while. But the game was too good to keep me away in the end

      You never end up seeing the character. It's just a blur on your screen spewing spells and damage. You customize the way the build functions through gems, items, passive tree. You're not identified as a shadow, but rather as a chaos spell slinger, the skill and build you're using.

    the best systeam at POE is crafting and the rare drops are quite game changing too

    poe story not this bad there a ton of lore in dialogs, "books" that lay around zones and in poetry notes on unique items and div cards

    • @Love-kq7iy

      The lore is way deeper than you'd ever think. There's a TH-cam channel for KittenCatNoodle that has a complete lore series and it's DEEP and very interesting.

      I image once you can start grabbing orbs of regret its a lot easier

    • @Love-kq7iy

      @@DyingLegacy It never comes as "easy" since every point (out of 123 points) means finding an orb, but you're able to make some meaningful changes into endgame, going even as far as changing your ascendancy. The starting class only determines your starting point on the tree and a small subset of additional passive on the tree (that can be extremely meaningful). Your second or third character can easily start as one thing and transition in endgame into something 100% different. (I was leveling with a dexterity based unarmed monk build but ended up with a totem spell caster in endgame.)

    Feeble minds and less intelectuals are the ones who cannot do POE! Played all arpgs, waited for D3 with much hype.. It was a big NO.. Found free POE, i saw the skill tree.. I didnt have palpitations, dudnt quit wasn't overhelm... I told myself 'Finally I found my game'... Never stopped since.. 150k hours gameplay now... Poe too have the best devs, best community, best content makers... The content makers intelkect amd creativitu is a million miles ahead of other simpler games. Period!

      @@bign0ah726 I had played on different archtypes while making the video, but I do usually play for 10 or so hours before doing a review. Because average players really only care about if the game is fun enough to warrant playing it long enough. By all means criticise away though if it comes to it. It does depend on the game too though. It's also the worst review for a reason xD
