Here's a simple recipe for loaded cheese fries:
Ingredients:
- 4 large potatoes (or frozen fries)
- 200g cheddar cheese, grated
- 100g mozzarella cheese, grated
- 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled (optional)
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 jalapeño, sliced (optional)
- Sour cream, for serving
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil, for frying or baking
Instructions:
1. *Prepare the Fries:*
- If using fresh potatoes, peel and cut them into thin fries.

3. *Melt the Cheese:*
- Place the dish back in the oven for 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
4. *Add Toppings:*
- Remove the fries from the oven and sprinkle the crumbled bacon, green onions, and jalapeños over the top.
5. *Serve:*
- Serve immediately with a dollop of sour cream on the side or drizzled on top.
Tips:
- You can customise the toppings with ingredients like diced tomatoes, black olives, or guacamole.
- For a spicier kick, add some hot sauce or sriracha before serving.
