Trump can win this, he's just demonlished Selby and if he can only take this form over long matches like at the crucible, he will win more world titles. He's playing as good as Ronnie and it's hard to see if anyone can play any better. Ronnie has mastered the art of getting through long matches which is what Trump needs to do to fulfill his potential. Just in one game, I can safely say that Trump has all the shots of the tournament lol.

It's weird how these two hardly ever meet...Selby couldn't handle Trump. It was strange to see. He can tie pretty much any other player up in knots but Trump had the measure of him...that's an ominous sign for the other three players still in the tournament.

@@dyslexick same, he is still not as good as Ronnie was in his prime, but right now he is clearly much better. But there's nothing to shame about, Ronnie is 48 already, many players in his age already retired or can't even win a frame or make a 50+ break and Ronnie still can play good and make it to the last stages sometimes.
@@medved5925 Yeah, I agree. People sometimes think the game revolves around Ronnie, but there is other talented snooker players worth watching who don't seem to get the recognition.

What happened to Mark in first four frames? Glad for Judd, of course, but I expected more tough match. If he wouldn't take himself 0-4 down he could probably win this match. A bit disappointed about Mark's game even though he played last five frames really great.

I really thought after he won the worlds in 2019 that he was going to dominate snooker. I would have expected him to be on at least 3 world titles by now. He is back to playing unbeatable snooker like he was during that time. He has plenty of time still to surpass all of Ronnies records and become the GOAT himself

Regards the flukes- You’d be forgiven for thinking the match was won or lost due to the two flukes but in fact it was solely due to both players failing to capitalise on their opportunities

Most comentators were saying then when ronnie hangs up his cue that selby would tske over as the face of being the best. I disagree. When jud is playing at his best, he is unbeatable. Bound to be thr next best to ever do it. Of course no one will ever live uo to what ronnie has done for the sport.

The English team that won the world cup in 66 wouldn't even qualify today. But we still put respect on their name and admire them for what they did. So no it's not by my logical conclusion, it is what it is. And you can decide to look at things through a magnifying glass and try see bad in things, I'd rather embrace things for what they are.
