I don't remember the exact details, and don't have my books in front of me. But I believe 14-16 people at some point lived in that cabin, which is insane considering the size. It may have been the family had 16 children.

What do you mean lower trail? This is the only trail that stays near the creek, the others all ascend to the parkway.
