The donuts guy in the beginning is an hip hop/rap artist named Massofman (awesome stuff btw) and he's in all of Young Posse MVs so far! Didn't know you were so seriously ill because it never shows in your videos. Great respect for your courage in fighting back and trying to lead as normal a life as you can. Prayers for your health. Onto the show... Just discovered YP a bit back and they blew me away. It's smart and silly at the same time, paying respectful homage to their Hip Hop seniors, and having a blast doing it. It's also a good illustration why Kpop has grown into the creative monster it has. They're artistic magpies taking the shiny bits from other musical influences and combining them in ways to produce something nostalgic but new at the same time. Just plain fun videos are rare in Kpop, "Dumdi Dumdi," "Beam Beam," and "Butter" come to mind, and now the girls have 😊crip-walked their way into that catagory as well. I don't know how long they can mine this vein, but long may they boogie...😊

I love this song, the MV was a little too heavy with the GTA at first, but I like it as much as XXL now. They're stopping near me in October on their US tour. Should be a fun show. Since I'm a big older guy I am tempted to find a Massive apron and chef hat and dress in costume for the first time. I think this is kind of the issue with their adoption right now. I think older people like them and are trying to decide if it’s ok to go to their concerts and support them lol…I kind of want to see in Chicago when I see xg. They are there same week.
You should really check out the b-sides of their EPs, they are even better than the title tracks, they make bangers after bangers and they are much more versatile than you would think

I totally agree with you.. a lot of the 'cute' and 'fun' kpop groups are overly ccute (both in concept and music) to the point where (at least for me ) its gets real cringeworthy... i love how these girls are cute and fun but in a highly entertaining way and because its also juxtaposed against seriously good music it actually makes it really cool.. (a bit like how orange caramel were back in the day.. except with the obviously completely different style of music)
Don’t call it a comeback is an LL cool j shoutout I think too… you should check out the sloppy freestyle they did. It’s a chill mixed kind of cypher. You can clearly see in that they have a pretty great feel for delivery and flow that’s different than anyone outside xg to me. It’s different. You’ll really appreciate as I’m quite familiar with your game now. Lol. Also yes to blockbuster. Man those nights where you got the yes were the best. Mine was renting a game was our candy equivalent.
