Hello my lovely bunch of people! Today I am bringing you a reaction video to a new face on my channel, and it's not just any singer, but a remarkable singer called Morissette Amon!
I have heard of her before, I watched some Mariah Carey covers and a few other performances possibly and I was surprised by how good she sounds, so when you guys suggested her, I had to make a Morissette Amon reaction immediately!
I chose this song Akin Ka Na Lang as I have not listened to it before and I thought it would be a good start since it has lots of views. This is my first time reaction to Morissette Amon on this channel and this introduction was insane. I have heard her sing in whistle register before as well as everything else, but I have not heard it in this song and I had no clue where she was going to place all that, if she was going to use it at all that is. I was so surprised, but in the most positive way.
This Morissette Amon reaction video was so fun to make and I'm sure you will enjoy it yourself. She is an incredible talent.
So, what I want you all to do is suggest me other performances from her so I can make more Morissette Amon reactions as I would love to explore more of her through the performances I didn't hear before. It's not going to be a first time Morissette Amon reaction since this one is for my channel, but it will be a new video that I haven't seen before, and I very excited to make it.

One thing that impresses me more is her emotions, power, agility n sustenance! In that 2 long notes….she forgot to breathe n yet the sound she produced was perfect n beautiful! Dimash n Sohyang are exceptional vocalists too but Mori is Mori n my ears will never get tired listening to her. 🥰

@@ianbell4527 Totally agree, i can't really stand Dimash, he just shows off what he can all do but i don't have the feeling that he is really invested in what he sings. Mori howver is always 100% in what she sings and only uses her "tools" sparsely and when it makes sense to build up more drama and feeling.
Also her voice ist just so warm, even in her highest notes, while Dimash just makes my ears hurt.
She's going to release a new song on August 1 called "Undangon Ta Ni." It is in English/Cebuano. It has a nice beat and tempo. Please support Mori it is available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon music, etc. I can't wait to purchase this song and I think it will chart in more than 25 countries. Hello there! Thank you so much for reacting to my most favorite Morissette song "Akin Ka Na Lang" ♥ This was performed in the FM radio Wish 107.5 Bus back in 2018 when Mori was 21. In this song which made her famous worldwide through TH-cam, she was able to showcase her talent and skills as one of the best singers in the world nowadays. I completely agree with you when you consider her as among the top vocalists in this generation. She has a really beautiful tone in her voice, it's like hearing a Disney princess sing, her pronunciation and enunciation are crisp and clear, and when she belts, it's still pleasing to our ears, and it looks effortless for her, not straining or struggling, and her amazing whistle notes, how she can produce them at will and execute them gracefully is mind-blowing, and she has an incredible breath control that she can sustain high and long notes beautifully (that's a 14-second long belt right after the whistle), and those squeaks and growls that she puts in the right places at the right time, she is a "genius" in singing, a master of her craft.
You may want to check her covers of "Rise Up" (Andra Day), "Never Enough" (Loren Allred), and "Secret Love Song" (Little Mix), all done on the Wish Bus. This was the performance on the WISH 107.5 Bus that convinced me that she was an elite Apex, international caliber singer. In the years since she has grown to be a top 5 to 8 Pop singer of all time.

My top 3 vocalist this generation would have to be Mori, Katrina and Gigi. I can't consider Dimash, I don't think he is good enough as a complete singer. He's very good at only 1 or two areas. Soh Yang is a true world-class vocalist with complete skills no doubt, but she is nearly 45 years old. Even though she can still blow me away, I consider her as last generation.
Somebody told me I shouldn't have Dimash in the new vocal trinity because he is a man, and although I don't agree with that, I could say Glennis Grace would be a replacement as everyone sees her as this age Whitney Houston :)

I know you say you have to pause for copywrite issues but you only have to pause it once. That way you get to enjoy the song more and tell us your reaction after the song is over.
That is incorrect. I usually have to re-edit the video a lot until the copyright disappears. If I didn't pause much I would have to re-edit it many more times because the longer you watch something the more likely it is to get a copyright :/ I hate it, but I work around it as best as I can.
