I have just ordered yamaha dzr315. I am very happy with the output and quality of dzr15 too. I hope dzr315 will outperform the 15 . What is ur honest thoughts
Hi, I had the chance to test side by side in a real live sound situation and had the DZR12 and a DSR 112, and the DZR did not come close to the DSR in loudness , and they (DZR) peaked first than the DSR , plus sound wise I did not like it as the DSR. Now, the DZR315 use the same amp as the DZR12, I doubt they sound as loud as the DZR12, the only convenience by having a 315 is if you use it by itself with no subs, but when combined with a sub , you will end up using only the the high frequencies (HPF), probably will make the voices sound a bit on the bass side, but for my taste it was too much . My point is , price wise, I rather go with a DSR112 when combined with a sub, if not the DZR12 will work fine, but you will not have the same loudness as the DSR and with this to answer your question , Yamaha is lying with their specs. for the same price as the DZR I would probably buy a ETX from EV or JBL SRX 800 , if you can deal with the over saturation .
Cristian Medico ... Wow Good Review At least You Heard Them For Yourself & Can Give A Real Responsive Review Thanks I Hear a lot of good things about the DSR’s right now I’m using QSC kw 15 tops with EV etx subs sounds good but I want louder tops that can throw more & stay crystal clear and I’m hearing that DSR is the way to go have you ever heard the DSR 15’s If so how do they sound as stand alone’s do they have any bass to them at all for smaller functions!
@@DJHOLLYWOODAMG i Agree whit Christian médico. Dzr series seems ( to me ) as a not bad but not so good improvement over dsr line. I heard them booth and i preefer tone, Quality an loudness of dsr better. Dzr have a Nicer looking but you listen to speakers don't stand in front to see them LOL. As by yor question on the dsr15 yes. They really bump. First time i heard the dsr line was on a local Feria and i pass over a stand whit games and loud music. Best sound of that day. I had to see under the table to serch the sub but there was none, then the guy on stand start to talk over the loud music and i was inmedialtly sold on them. Loud clear speakers. But i have to be honnest man. If you have the kw 15's they are good speakers to. Also i have to Say the dxs18 xlf sub from Yamaha it is a very hard punch nice sub. The best active 18" Yamaha has ever Made. Greetings from México dude !
Alex Martinez ... Wow thank you very much for your reply I’m going to take your advice and get some dsr 12’s or 15’s nothing else to think about now Just time to buy and wow the people when they hear them I love playing a gig and hear people say man that sounded awesome I can’t believe it’s coming from this speaker 🤣 have a good day!👍🏽
