QUICK HEADS-UP: I just found out that BougeRV actually makes TWO versions of the 100W panel and TWO versions of the 200W panel. By default, on the BougeRV website, the "12V Standard Voltage" version is selected, which has a lower VOC rating and higher ISC rating than the "24V High-Voltage" version I show in this video. So just be aware that these differences exist so you can select the most appropriate voltage version for your application.

If I buy 4 of these topcon 200w panels for my Pecron E3600LFP, should I get the 12v or 24v panel? I would think the 24w, correct? Thanks! Good videos! TO ADD: It seems this panel performance is not the best, for the amount of busbars, efficiency, bifacial, new tech, etc, The old Harbor Freight 100w Thunderbolts perform better, but they don't make anything higher than 100w and you have to add mc4's to them.

That's one powerful panel for the size it is. I really enjoyed how you went into detail about the bifacial aspect of the panel. Maybe even more impressive is the minimal drop in wattage when shaded. Impressive panel!

I seen this flexible one on Hobotech. He shot the panel with a 45 automatic and it still worked fine. I like the new panels.

That was the CIGS, totally different (and, IMO, superior - though the price reflects it!) technology.

@@worldcomicsreview354 Yes, great but 3-4X more pricy.

I've seen people use reflective surface materiel or mount the bifacial panels on white concrete and it makes a difference.

    Excellent, as always. Cheers.

Understand BougeRV made it more compact to still get rated output using the added efficiency of being bi-facial. Would like to see what it can really do RW with the angle better adjusted to sun and a more reflective background, eg light gravel, white wall, or similar. (Expect it might hit closer to 100w in full sun under those conditions.)

I’d rather have their foldable 100 W panels. I get over 6 A at 17 to 20 volts. For me the amount of amps is crucial than the watts. It’s a wonderful size to be, but it’s dangerous if anybody thinks they can put that on a 24 V charge controller, we need to know what you’re doing.

Why don't you wait until a full sun day to do a test? What is the rush to put out a video?

Yeah, it's a bummer you can't get an idea of it's max wattage.

    I have a 100/30 victron mppt can I run 3 200w panels in parallel??

I bought the 200-watt version of the BougeRV BiFacial panel. The only thing I dislike is the MC4 connection wires are in the middle of the back of the panel instead of the top. I'm not sure why they decided to mount the cables there.

@mannyfragoza9652 yeah that does seem like a suboptimal design choice. My 395W bifacial Hyundai panels are like that too.

I have been looking for solar panels to charge my EG4 battery which the EG4 inverter requires 120V to start. I did not want to buy a pallet and was having a difficult time finding 3 or 4 panels that would meet the criteria as I don't want a whole house solar system. This might be the answer to my problem. Thank you.

FYI I received 2 of these panels yesterday. TBJ100W-B-B106. Same as you show. However they are 27.3v Voc(V) and the Isc(A) is 4.4a. Please verify before purchase. Not the same specs as your review. What’s up?

Turns out they actually make TWO versions of this panel (in each rated output). The default selection is the "12V Standard Voltage", but you can also select the "24V High-Voltage" version - which is actually the one I have. I wasn't aware until just now that they had a lower voltage version as well. :-/ So thanks for bringing that to my attention.
