I read Everyone Knows Your Mother is a Witch earlier this year because it was long listed for the Canada Reads prize. It didn’t totally work for me, but I can definitely see why people enjoy it, and I listened to it as an audiobook and think I would have enjoyed it more as a physical read. Excited to hear your thoughts when you get around to it!

I've been loving and re-watching the anime for many years. btw Did you ever finish Christopher Paolini's To Sleep In a Sea of Stars ? Random question, I know. I wasn't able to find a review of it by you but you do mention the book a few times. I bought it recently from a thrift shop here in Australia for AU$4 - an amazing bargain for such a huge book. I liked it and would give it a solid 3/5. Cheers !
You not liking 'Book of Night' makes me feel a lot better about unhauling it (I have to admit I was a little disappointed when I opened the box and saw it as I don't get along with Holly Black either but to each their own)

I'll be going to Edinburgh for a week in July as my summer holiday and I would like to take a day trip to Glasgow. Can you please tell how you got there? I checked both the bus and the train and I can't decide which would be the better :/
