I get very reflective about things over Christmas as so many pivotal things have happened to me around this time. I was thinking while i was admiring your craftsmanship how stoked you must have been when it dawned on you that it was going to be financially possible for you to leave your civil engineering job and go full time with Daddy Guru on your TH-cam adventure. Respect to you, your dad Steve and uncles Richard and John for everything you’re achieving. Go 2024!
Ryan my good friend it's a extremely good pleasure to watch you do your panel fabrication, I'm still in love with the chassis rail you made for Matt Armstrong BMW that time. I bet you are very good with mathematics also in doing that kind of work 😉 I know you are the best, your whole family is extremely smart I hope you guys have the best new years and a extremely prosperous new year with millions of subscribers and worldwide 🌐 recognition.
Thanks so much David! That chassis rail turned out real good :) Im glad you liked it :) Thanks for all the kind comments over the past year, here's to the road to a million subs! Have a great new year David!
Just a thought when you have made all of the stencils for the smaller repairs have you ever thought about scanning them and saving the files for the next time
Came across this channel by total chance after going down a rabbit hole of Mat Armstrong, Tavarish and some really annoying bloke with an Ultima 😂 loving the work you do! New sub ❤
Mate, your panel fabrication skills have taken a massive leap forward over the last 12 months - almost as good as your dad! Keep up the great work. We love you in Australia!
I trust that you and the family had a fantastic and fun filled Christmas and the 2024 festivities are equally as entertaining. Love what you do and the mathematical skills and problem solving know how, from your civil engineering profession, have contributed to that gleaned from learning dad's expertise with metal. Your career is set in steel lol. Just have a quick question re where you mig welded and planished the arch section and them put it under the shrinker. As mig wire is much harder than your body panel, does that affect the way in which the metal "pulls as you shrink. Being only an armchair observer, I would have shrunk it first and welded it afterwards. Just curious if I went that way, if it would nave been problematic.
amazing work as per normal ryan, from now on i am going to call you ryan the shape shifter...brilliant.....in this video ryan what guage metal did you use...
i always find it fascinating how you approach any repairs, and can usually pick up a tip or two in the process! i do very little metalwork (i'm more of a woodwork guy), but how you plan things out always gives me an idea on how to better my "workflow". yet another great vid.
The metalwork skills are amazing but so is the editing. Instead of hitting fast forward you show the key elements of each step along with an explanation of what you are doing. It is brilliant to watch and I imagine time consuming to do. Much appreciated.
Oy! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Norway. Now... stop working, go get hammered and have some good food (fish'n chips, or at least a greasy kebab) on your way home from the pub. :)
Love to see real engineers at work, its grest to know that people can still make things instead of just fitting new parts. You have given this car another 20 years of life.
Nice old BMW nice cheap little roundabout for somebody. I don’t think it was a lot of profit in it but but there’s always the right buyer out there looking for one and with low owners, low mileage and full services history nice car it did have that going for it too 👍

True skill and craftsmanship at work!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍
Your workmanship is fantastic. Its a shame your videos aren't longer though.
Thank you! & we are trying to get more footage so we can make longer videos
Quorner is a vegetable used for BMW bodies. Fabulous fabrication. Thanks for the continued entertainment.
Alex is a bit of a clown. Lets hope he appreciates what has gone into this and treats it with a bit more respect than he usually treats his cars
And with that, I now know why I get people who know what they are doing for the job lol Cheers super vid.
Classic fab!
New of your best. Well. Done

As always very impressive metalworking skills, and a great video matey.
Thank you! Cheers!
When Only the best will do!
Hey do you use 1,25mm Steel when repairing rust or 0,7mm/1mm ?
we rarely go below 1mm usually 1.2mm and above :)
Thanks for the video.
Great fabrication skills ain't seen anything of the suzuki for a why when you going to paint all the best for the new year
Thanks. And the Suzuki is on the back burner at the moment until we get through some cars :) Its our car so we can pout it on hold

Absolutely love that you show us the end result before the actual work is shown. Amazing handiwork mate!
Great watching you work.
These are listed on AutoDoc for £63 plus VAT a corner - but they are out of stock. What a shame.
nice work Ryan - Merry Christmas
Thanks so much! Merry Christmas and great new year to you!
Ryan being awesome again!!
Thank youu!!! :D
Just an absolute steel ninja, such fabrication skills amazing to watch you work.
Hi can i ask why don’t you buy replacement panels I assume they are available still
Its faster and cheaper to make our own. Also we use thicker steel
@@yorkshirecarrestoration THANKS for the reply and happy new year to the team
Mastering the craft
I really like how you guys fabricate instead of panel replacement😊
Great work.
Wow mate that went together lovely 🥰
Thanks 👍
1978 habe ich auch Autospengler und Lackierer gelernt. Du machst eine hervorragende Arbeit. Meine Hochachtung. Grüße aus Österreich. 👍
