Someone very dear to me is a diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic, and this entire situation sounds textbook to me. She obsessively saw monsters, demons and machiavellian plots around every corner for three years. She derailed her PhD and took to writing about conspiracy theories and other tin-foil-hat-related topics with absolute conviction till we got her help. Schizophrenics can fabricate entire worlds with such rich detail and "lore" that it almost seems plausible… until you start going through their evidence and realise it's a load of garbage weaved together and presented through a thin veneer of academic rigour. But their warped view of the world is absolutely unshakeable for them. Situations like this are so frustrating. Like our rationality and logic tells us people like this are simply delusional, looking for things that aren’t there, and 99% of the time we are right. If what Jojo said is true and they are French, France has one of the lowest English levels within Europe possibly second to, or tied with Italy. This is a wellknown fact to most of the people within these countries, to the point where I have witnessed arguments between the two, where people will aggressively argue that their own country has the WORSE English level. Simply not being fluent in a language isn't the same as "communication/coherrency (sic) issues". You should try writing a 9 page document in a language which you don't speak and then have a native speaker read it and see what they say about you. Secondly, this isn't so much directed to you, but it is shocking how some of the comments are talking about this person despite believing themselves that this person is mentally ill. People love to pretend like they support mental illness until they are actually faced with the symptoms of anything more severe than mild depression or anxiety. Calling him a creep, stalker, weirdo, psycho, etc. in the same comment as "this sounds like psychosis from schizophrenia".

You can take pity on a person who is obviously struggling mentally while also admitting their behavior is unacceptable, offputting, or dangerous, and treating them like you would anyone else doing these things. I do think NT's could better word these statements in a way that doesn't excuse behavior but also doesn't treat people like this as monsters, but I also think that accountability is integral and at least personally tend to feel infantalized when NTs excuse my behaviors or don't call me out on things because they see me as someone to pity instead. I think there's a healthy balance to strike there. But yeah, I do think you're correct and do get squicked out when NTs act sympathetic for one sentence and then go on to seemingly forget that and bash the person. That to me goes beyond holding a person accountable despite the disorder and goes into lolcow territory. Especially when it comes to antisocial disorders like ASPD, EDD, autism, and in many cases schizophrenia, NTs are absurdly quick to both pin everything on our disorders and make it our only traits, but also ignore our disorders when it gives them a chance to mock us or depict us as monsters. Usually they have almost no desire to hold us accountable like any other adult but also understand why we behave the ways we do, because treating us like infants ruled by a disorder while simultaneously treating us like monsters who entirely choose to be how we are is easier.

I think this guy may have schizophrenia, at least from the sounds of it. I wouldn't want either case to be true because both are equally horrifying outcomes, but if this guy is suffering then he needs professional help. Dealing with schizophrenia is never easy for either side, especially not when someone is being targeted by the paranoia. My first question is, is the alleged creator an English native? If so, that message is 100% fabricated. If the person sending this makes mistakes in his own English that’s not surprising since he’s not a native English speaker, but if the alleged creator is a native then making errors like “a big breasts” is not something a native would do - meaning he fucked up the English in his forged screenshot and made it too obvious he forged it
I have known native speakers who have never set foot outside of the US/UK and whose family goes back generations within one of those countries, who have made greater mistakes than that, just saying. "a big breasts" could easily be explained as either: 1) she was going to write "a big chest" but got distracted/mixed phrases (similar to when someone accidentally says "hillo" as hi and hello together but as a phrase), 2) alternatively to mixing up the two phrases, if she had written her message out, then went back to read it over before sending and changed "chest" to "breasts" but then forgot to adjust the article before it, or 3) she simply made a typo by accidentally adding an extra "a" followed by a space. But again, I have seen native speakers with SIGNIFICANTLY worse English writing abilities than that.

It’s far and away one of the most common ones. Given we know OP is a non-native, that’s a mistake that is basically guaranteed created by him. Not to mention that kind of typo/post-editing mistake… I just never see natives make that sort of mistake on the internet ever. I think 99% of the time people can get out what they mean the first time straight, not to mention there’s no practical meaning to changing chest to breasts, making it a rather improbable explanation. My first question is, is the alleged creator an English native? If so, that message is 100% fabricated. If the person sending this makes mistakes in his own English that’s not surprising since he’s not a native English speaker, but if the alleged creator is a native then making errors like “a big breasts” is not something a native would do - meaning he fucked up the English in his forged screenshot and made it too obvious he forged it
I have known native speakers who have never set foot outside of the US/UK and whose family goes back generations within one of those countries, who have made greater mistakes than that, just saying. "a big breasts" could easily be explained as either: 1) she was going to write "a big chest" but got distracted/mixed phrases (similar to when someone accidentally says "hillo" as hi and hello together but as a phrase), 2) alternatively to mixing up the two phrases, if she had written her message out, then went back to read it over before sending and changed "chest" to "breasts" but then forgot to adjust the article before it, or 3) she simply made a typo by accidentally adding an extra "a" followed by a space.
But again, I have seen native speakers with SIGNIFICANTLY worse English writing abilities than that.
@@madeleine61509 While that’s not wrong, and I can’t prove it’s not a typo, I can say that in terms of making genuine grammar mistakes, natives always fall into the same set of mistakes that never includes one like that, meanwhile non-natives of dozens of nationalities make exactly that kind of mistake in English all the time. It’s far and away one of the most common ones. Given we know OP is a non-native, that’s a mistake that is basically guaranteed created by him.
Not to mention that kind of typo/post-editing mistake… I just never see natives make that sort of mistake on the internet ever. I think 99% of the time people can get out what they mean the first time straight, not to mention there’s no practical meaning to changing chest to breasts, making it a rather improbable explanation.
That’s why I’m so confident on this. This kind of mistake never happens to natives ever in my experience even if it technically could, meanwhile non-natives fall into it *all the time.*

I've been delusional in the past, and while we do say some weird shit it's really important that we don't make fun of whoever is in that state. It's a disability after all, and I'd like to think that we'll eventually make mocking psychotic folk socially unacceptable.
