Glenmorgan is a village located at a distance of 30 kilometers from Ooty. This place is known for its tea estates which includes one of the oldest tea estates in the region known as the Glenmorgan tea estate.
Glen Morgan is one of the best tourist spot in Ooty. Glenmorgan lake acts as the fountain-head for the Pykara Power Plant. It is a very scenic waterbody surrounded by the riches of nature. This place was not much familiar with the tourists. If you want to visit the Power station, you should get permission from EB department. Otherwise you can enjoy the beautiful view of dam, mountain, tea estate and adventure trekking.
