These proverbs are very impressive indeed. Thank you so much. This is South Sudanese Dinka language proverbs. The beggar can not ask for a big bowl. The meaning is the person who is begging, can not have a say over whatever have been given to them. If what have been given to them is small they would just be great ful, and say nothing at all.

I have been creating content and not posting. I just have this fear that I may run out of content, but seeing your channel, I am more than encouraged. Hello teacher,
«A quién madruga Dios le ayuda»
"Who get up early, will be helped by God"
More or less it means that:
If you don't be lazy and work hard, God will help you sooner or later.
«No dejes para mañana lo que puedas hacer hoy»
"Do not leave for tomorrow what you can do today "
    It means:
    Don't be lazy!

    Greetings from Estonia.
We say here like this when talking about laziness: The mouse is not running to the mouth of the sleeping cat.
And similar to your expression with the hay.... I googled and found the same expression in English:
to strike while the iron is hot. Rough translation from Estonian would be "hammer the iron til it is still hot".

Hi Lisa ,I am Khin from Myanmar. We have some similar proverbs. Don't look a gift cow in the month. (Our country use bull and cow for farm). Get the water when it rain. (Our country is topical country, so some part of country don't have water resource nearby, that is why when it rain they put bucket or earthen pot under the end of the roof so that they get more water from rain). Success follows after hardwork.
