Ela é a melhor de todas, Flavio! Eu Moro nos Estados Unidos a 32 anos e tudo que ela está ensinando graças a Deus eu já sabia! Por isso mesmo é que eu sei a diferença entre ela e os outros! Ademais ela é muito doce e simpática! 😀✨👍🏼👍🏼
super appreciate .. I'm an Iranian from Iran and I'm just working with your lessons and I think you are an extraordinarily talented teacher . your accent is EXCELLENT.
Thank you, Lisa for such a great explanation of the English pronunciation. I’ve been living in the United States for many years and I now work as an interpreter in the legal system. The level of my English skills is quite advanced and I always enjoy watching your videos. I actually watch your videos all the time and they have helped me a lot with little things I forget every now and then when it comes about pronouncing certain words. I’m glad we have teachers like you on the web! ❤
Thank you Omar. I am glad my videos are helpful to you. I've worked with a number of interpreters. I love and respect their commitment to language precision! : )
@@AccurateEnglish Really? How nice! Do you help them with their English skills? Interpreting is a challenging job, it requires accuracy and precision. An interpreter has to have proficiency in two or more languages and he/she must be able to keep up with the speed for whom he is interpreting for. Yes, I watch your videos quite often. I am passionate about the English language. That’s actually the reason why I moved to the states. I am constantly working on my English skills. I read books, I memorize new words, new expressions, new idioms and so forth. I have my own interpreting/translation agency so I work with different kind of people every day. Many times I have to work in the Los Angeles area. I think that’s where you’re located based on what I see on your videos.
@@AccurateEnglishhello Lisa, I came from Ukraine long time ago, but unfortunately I live in NY and here, you can live without speaking English, I should move somewhere else where is less Russian and Ukrainian people, but I can’t. Can you help me, what of your courses I should take, to start . My English is just ok, not better then this. Where and what I should start?
Like it or not, I have always & will continue to pronounce the second "o" in broccoli. I prefer it & have for 77 years now, but I am grateful to oblige you on a few others brought to attention for correction. Thank you.
Professor, you are extraordinarily creative in collecting real expressions from everyday American conversation. I think it's a good chance for those who don't live in their home country to learn. Thank you.
I have made two mistake for this lesson. Absolutely you always give us good lesson and you help us the way that can we improve our pronunciation of words .Thank you so much Lisa . God bless you.
Wish you were my ESL teacher when I moved in this country 😪 more than 25 years ago. My pronunciation would have been perfect. Never too late to learn. You just got a new student 🙂
I am vietnamese , English is my second language. The pronunciation is my weak in studying english. your teaching is both informative and entertaining. i would always confuse in pronunciation. the other youtube i watch only once, this youtube i have to watch it over and over. The English sound in my mind is more important than the printed words in the book. Thank you very much.
Lol I grew up in Canada and I was kind of afraid of making mistakes lol...but I made none. It'd be nice a video talking about pronunciation mistakes that we, native speakers make. I myself spend most of my life pronouncing the word "invalid" , you know, when a person is not able to take care of themselves, with the "a" vowel as pronounced in "valid" and stressing the second syllable.. In my 30's I found out that the "a" vowel is actually a schwa....lol....and it should be pronounced something like "INvulid". I teach English here in Brasil now, where my parents are from..and your videos help a lot. Great job!!!!
Hi there Thanks for your lesson You are kind and genuine person You let us view English as a wonderful and easy Language You worth our respect and rewards
Lisa!!! You are Really great! Something in your voice tone make words and ideas stick into my mind longer than other methods. You are a gifted lovely lady!!
Thank you Lisa for these videos. Very In depth. They're improving my English pronunciation and knowledge. I love the way you give the meaning of the words and use them in sentences.
Help me Liza, on one of your previous videos (13 years ago), you mentioned about vowels sound: relaxed and neutral, and you provided the example such as seat and sit and you explain that seat has a relaxed vowel but today the word lease and receipt sound in my ears like not relaxed and not tense although we have 2 vowels besides each other. Thank you so much for everything.
I have not words with this TEACHER , wow ! You are an extraordinary teacher. Thanks for correct my mistakes. I was wrong in all those words pronunciation ...
Thank you Lisa for your video. it always be an optimal lesson I got when you share it. I've been making your lesson becoming my standard of English learning. But, it's better and very helpful if your interval time between your videos not more than 2 weeks
No water, just pure efficiency! Bravo, Lisa!
Her classes make me not to give up and still have hope, although I have studied English for decades.
Never give up. These look like great lessons. 🌟❤️

Hi Walid. "Seat" is pronounced with a tense vowel, not a relaxed vowel. Same as "receipt" and "lease". "Sit" is pronounced with a relaxed vowel.
Thanks for your teaching!
It’s excellent, to learn pronounce.
