I never got serious in WoW and I realize now that it was because of the waiting. Him waiting around in SM for people to join is the exact situation that turned me off group activities.
If you're thinking of farming sm for xp, remember that all of the wings are technically the same instance so you can clear two of them and then rest to avoid the lockout.
I don't mind classic, but I will probably play it, on the side, if I have nothing I want to do in current. I hope Blizzard learns from classic, and that they implement it, into the next expansion.

Forces them out and does it himself but poorly and screened from anything negative. Which let’s be honest asmongold being asmongold is like 95% of his live time. He’s just a shitty person, unwilling to admit it, unwilling to change, and having the power to (poorly) attempt to hide this fact from the world. It’s funny.
it's better that not all classes have great AOE damage like mages. paladins and rogues have a lot of survivability. only rogues and mages have multiple CC's. only druids and rogues had movement speed increase in combat. only rogues and warriors had good defense against melee attacks. only shamans could remove fear and purge buffs from enemies. only rogues and feral druids had high attack speed with high crit chance. spell casters did a lot of damage but were really squishy in exchange. the idea of class fantasy was true back then, now different classes have different animations and sounds for their abilities and spells but only a percentage of the spells and abilities are truly unique to that class. In vanilla 95% of it was unique to that class, it was a true RPG. only back then you could be in 1v3 situation and still have a chance if you're really really good with really good gear
