Yeah, honestly was a great way to tell a story. Was a good introduction to the dragon isles all around I’d say. Thoroughly enjoying my questing experience. Feels like mop, mixed with cata and WoD with quests and bonus quests. So far, I’d give this expansion a nice 7/10. Nice change from Shadowlands honestly.

I love watching these videos with my 6 month old , I don't have too much time to play anymore so it's nice to still be able to enjoy the game with my son.

Boys, highly recommend getting your dragonriding to max quickly, it helps with leveling A LOT. It took me about an hour of flying at level 62 around the Isle and getting glyphs, now I'm able to basicly fly without limits and with maximum fun. Other then that just try to have fun, read quests, explore zones, I discovered so many little things already... It's a bit different feeling then previous expansions, so it's not for everyone, but I love it. Only thing that can go wrong is if we need to wait for content too long.
I've never played WoW before. If I get the game do I start here or do I have to work my way through all the expansions like FF14 before I can do Dragonflight?
@@DisI3oss I don't know if the levelcap was raised, but you'll have a 1-10 leveling experience which is the starting area, essentially a tutorial, then for 10-60 you can choose an expansion to play and it'll scale you, and you can change expansions if you want. Then you go to the new areas for 60-70
@@DisI3oss you get free level 60 boost and can get right into DF. You will miss some story context, won't recognize characters, but overall it's pretty solid standalone story.
Yeah, if you go back and read the quest text of quests in vanilla and compare it, feels like a 16 year old writes it now. Not necessarily complaining, just observing. Dragon Isles are gorgeous and I’m happy with being over here than in the SL..

I like solo play. I want a hard mode for questing. Basically like an option you can turn on to make the mobs harder to kill/do more damge/have mechanics that you need to worry about.. Make me need to think to do the quests. There is no reason the game should be rushed to max lvl imo. From lvl 1 to max lvl i want a more engaging experience. I want mobs that can kill me if i mess up. Why does lvling have to be this thing that you can just smash thru/buy your way out of. Why cant lvling actually be apart of the whole game experience again. Before we knew how to play this game and it was new, every part of the game felt special. Lvl one to lvl 2 felt special. WHy is blizzard so focused on trying to smush all the fun into their whole game into the last few lvls.
MMO stands for massively multiplayer online, what you are looking for are rouge-like or soul-like games. If a MMORPG leveling experience is difficult , then large amount of players would leave before they hit the end game. The level experience in a mmo is to allow players to have understanding of the plot and the story, and become familiar with their class , ability and mechanics.

Good video. The Dragonflight expansion is a lot of fun. I left shortly after BFA released. Then returned for Shadowlands hoping for an improvement. I was so disappointed with Shadowlands that I left within approx. 1 week and almost didn't return for Dragonflight. A friend insisted Dragonflight was a lot better than the last couple of expansions. So I finally reinstalled and gave it a try. They were right. I'm having a lot of fun doing pretty much everything. There's a good variety of things to do solo and with friends. The combat and quests are fun again and you really see the efforts put into each patch. We're even flying dragons from day 1 without a ton of rep farming. I'm happy. I chose to experience this content.
Honestly glad I’m new to wow for DF. I’ve done a character now on WOD, legion, BFA alliance and horde side and now going through MOP and I can see why a lot of older players were disappointed. Horde side BFA was shite compared to alliance that’s for sure.

I was on last night with Asmon, different realm, but I had the stream going. Had a smooth experience. No crash, population wasn't terrible. Blazed through quests without waiting. Got up to 63. I think I'm going to get the rest of my riding glyphs. I did the first two zones.
I have to say i was sceptical about dragon riding and it being basically the main feature of the expansion but i have to say its damn fun, the PvE/PvP races, the exploration etc is awesome, really hope blizz retroactivly does it for the old zones and hopefully old mounts
Agree...now if only they could apply it to all mounts and zones in wow. Makes it seem silly to have grinded other expansion rep only to be told I can't use that mount now for the game play. Overall though very fun to be able to fly in all zones of expansion.
@@chadjohnson8527 Looks like older mounts are getting dynamic flight flags in game, even mounts that aren’t even dragons like the WOD raven mount! They might retroactively go through mounts that use the same base model and then anything else that’s a bit weird like bugs won’t get the dynamic flight.

Don't know how long you waited but I logged in at 6:30pm est..the login was smooth but the wait on the docks in stormwind was huge..it took over 2 hrs before the boat arrived.... after that it was normal game play...no lag no dc.
Only issues I saw on Hellscream (pretty populated server) was when riding the zep initially, more than half of us got kicked out and sent to Razorhill GY along with issues leaving the Ruby Life Pools dungeon. Other than that, it’s been a very smooth launch. Hope our friends in the EU get it straightened out soon! Cheers
Do you play wow? Theres been alot of progression systems in the last few expansions that are just arbitrary and annoying and feel like they waste your time, asmon feels as if this expansion (so far) is more freeing

The best part of the new expansion is that they brought back the talent specialization system. I love being able to customize my character however I want. Isles look good so far gameplay and story is good.
Im now level 68 but work has got in the way of playing, i can safely say even tho ive only played world of warcraft for 4 days that this expansion is fantastic. The dungeons are fantastic what ive seen also, theres one in particular with an assault course throught the boss fight which makes me think of that lava boss i heard bad things about in the past

they legit tried to fake everyone out with that boat. it spawned a kul tiras boat bound for kul tiras like 4 minutes earlier, then the dragon isles boat they spawned in looked identical to it so people thought it was just another boat bound for kul tiras, and the npc with the boat arrival time estimate was still bugged out.

Traditional Monarchies don't have a queen and king. It'll be Queen and her prince or King and his princess. Dragons in wow probably use something similar since it's the most modern thing they can copy.
Not to be a hipster , but og flying is always going to be cool to me. Being able to physically take myself somewhere and park myself at the top of the mountain overlooking wetlands will always be a cool thing to me

The thing about the "collect 15" quests is that we all know that those will be "collect 10" or "collect 8" quests in a patch or two.

Level 69-70 felt super fast compared to any last level in wow ever. I swear they made my rested xp last 10x as long for the last level lol
