God bless you for caring for the cat. He didnt look well but after being treated at the hospital and later at your home he looked better. He just needs time to trust you. Try to pet him gently. Sometimes it looks like when you shake his head or rub him quickly he does not seem to like it. Cats like slow gentle rubs. Otherwise you are very compassionate.

I appreciate you taking in the cat and getting him the care that he needs. But watching your video and how you interact so roughly with the cat is heart breaking.. you need to approach him slowly, and talk to him with a soft voice, and when petting him you should be gentle and loving to reasure him he can trust you and that you're not going to hurt him. He is already scared from everything he's been through and needs time, patientence, and lots of love and cuddles. Please do some research online or read some books on bonding with a new cat. I think you would benefit from it.
Beware of these "rescue channels" they take or share videos from different platforms and start a channel, notice there is no follow up, no one in the video speaks, there usually isn't any link to who created the video and no rescue or vets office is mentioned. The channel was also started last month and they already have several videos of content that is not owned by them, even the "about" info on this channel is sketchy and vague at best. 😕😕😕

This is awful!!! I truly believe that the people making these videos, actually are the ones that abuse the animals. Then they act like they’re saving them. Many of these poor animals end up dying and discarded😢You are so right, there is never a follow up, for long term. I pray for all of the animals 🙏

Why did you shave him? That just seems cruel. Gentle combing is much better for the kitty. We comb our cat 3-4 times daily and she loves it.
What happened to his brother. I can tell he misses his brother.
