As an American, I'm proud of ALL the SA teams, they really stepped up and earned their spot in international dota. Its been awesome watching the region grow. Dota needs it too, the larger the global community, the better.
One of the best series in dota2 history. Hard to compare with OG vs LGD 5 games but still... this is dota2 and thats why i love this game even if im n00b :D
There once was a beginners stream. He would be perfect for that role atm. It will take a bit before he can have conversations about specific heroes etc.
watching tournaments really help learning the game sense,tips and trick.back then i too learn so much from watching pros how they play (ex:cliff escape,manta dodge/dispel etc) and their team's heroes synergy.i hope you too can enjoy learning the game,grubs!
I think TA can wait. you see, the tower damage was done mostly by Leshrac, and even if Leshrac can TP in, TA would still have at least 15 seconds before the ancient got exposed. And if Leshrac decides to went in on the towers, then he won't have edict for the early phase of their next team fight, which means enigma should live a bit longer, which in turn saves TA precious seconds until Pudge and Ember respawn. But, having said that, i don't think it would change anything. Undying and Enigma will not have tombstone, flesh golem, and blackhole for their next team fight even if they manage to hold Liquid until Pudge and Ember respawn.
Though I may not know if it was the right or wrong call, they are professional players. Every decision they made are well thought of and we should respect their dedication to literally DEFEND their ancient even if they failed. Well done Thunder Awaken and Liquid. 1 game of these 2 teams and we had the best level of Dota we've ever seen.

Insania, former drafter for liquid accidently picked gyro instead of banning it because time ran out in ti game, if i remember correctly it was also an elimanition game. Current drafters matu and blitz are trolling him by picking heroes very late.

He stepped forward and blocked the exit, but it looks like Leshrac went over his shoulder. I think Dendi talked with you about fountain hooks. Back then, the target was always reeled to Pudge (hence returning to the fountain with Pudge). Valve changed the mechanic so targets go to where Pudge threw the hook.
2 things made a difference in this match: the cheese left on rosh pit and enigma forgot to unlock the the components for aeon disk. But still this is a very good game

I get the reason for waiting, but the problem was they were hitting the towers that defended the ancient. Once those tower are down the enemies can simply concentrate on the ancient rather than the heroes. Unless you have multiple area stuns there's no stopping the damages to the ancient.

Pango is important because he can cancel bh from safe distance and if they managed to kill him(which is 1hp left), Marci and enigma can have buyback making them having high ground in defending. It will be 3v4 and they might can take some of liquid members while sacrifice themselve because they have BB and once lesh arrive, thunder team will respawn.
He always does that at the start of streams, he's watched a lot of dota content, I'm currently watching him 10+ hours a day because he's addicted to the game and I'm addicted to his stream lol
These newer rosters dropping veterans and putting up a dominating fight.. even tho some of the vets are retiring after this TI, the future isnt looking too shabby competitively when these new guys started getting more experience
Many high level players get BKB on lifestealer if there is enough CC and magic dmg on enemy team. It means you basically have two BKBs instead of one, and makes you much harder to kill in team fights. In this game, not only was there a lot of magic damage through aghs rot and other things, but with the devour and black hole they can disable LS during his entire rage duration, so getting BKB allows him to tank those spells and still have another rage/BKB charge once they are down to fight without getting stunned or rooted. It was a really good decision imo. Not greedy, but thinking of how to maximally contribute in fights vs a pudge and enigma.
I think jumping the pango at the end was the right call. Thunder couldn't have waited 30s for the respawns. Notice how liquid bulldozed their t4s and ancient in less than 20s after they won the tf
Lifestealer shard gives Lesh additional life steal, plus his ult is a save. Liquid knew LS wasn’t going to be the mid game win condition this game, but lesh would be. Lifestealer added additional healing to lesh on top of being good vs pudge. If game went late enough and lifestealer got 4-5 items, he would be strong enough to man up vs pudge and be their late game win condition. Good draft and play by liquid.
Good draft? Nah, OK but not good. TA's draft was good. Everything was stacked againt liquid in that game. They just can't finish it because little things that went into that last few minutes in the game. Enigma was bashed twice, was not able to use Aeon Disk, did not pick up cheese, etc. Amazing execution by Liquid though.

The reason you see lifestealer go triple gauntlet is that he looks at his inventory slots as a resource. He values using this resource early higher than the 70 gold lost from selling gauntlet, by the time its sold it will have provided regen and helped secure last hits in lane+jungle speed. If he felt he needed it he probably would have gone for a bracer or two but now he could get away with going for bigger items instead.

@@PascalSWE BKB was a great decision. Black hole and devour can disable him for most or all of his rage duration. After which he is left vulnerable to magic damage and other stuns/roots. BKB allows him to have two charges, one he can use to tank devour or black hole and still have another charge left to still fight without getting controlled and taking magic damage. Pudge aghs magic damage is particularly high, and quickly kills him whenever he doesn’t have rage on.

If the enigma waited for respawns at the end, Liquid wouldve just ended it. He had to engage in that moment, it was the right call.

Lifestealer is like a double edged sword, he can be incredibly useless and then kill everyone.

Na he went triple gauntlet because of lane matchup, secures hp regen/last hit and hp pool vs undying, its basically 2 casts of decay which is worth it
