Especially when she roasted them in the archives, in the french version it was even better, I felt like she was kinda right about them, the only time anyone was honest in that show.
Minor winx fairies have some of the MOST snatched looks ive ever seen. Diasparo ate, dark bloom ate, Katy, Francine,Pia/Ortensia, Khadija, Miky, and Selene are my favorites of the magic winx transformations. I would DIE to see their enchantix forms but we didnt🥺

I love how you actually name them like how many shows have this kind of depth and richness I'm just sayeen
they have been students for years XD plot held them back so creators didnt have to design new background characters (they did but only a few ones). Amaryl became winx' student while she was their classmate at the beginning. We dont even have a single scene of graduation, even for Amaryl who was well known one and had a few lines.

Season 1-4 outfits were such a slay winx had some best fashion ever and I’m literally in love with basically all the designs. Not just the transformation but even the regular clothes they were so chic and fashion forward, the color palettes matched and complement each other so well which was so nice to see. Overall winx had some of the best fashion in animation history

they’re so timeless which makes the later seasons even more disappointing bc the casual fits were ATROCIOUS like i know it partially came out in the early 2010s were the fashion was WEIRD but i feel like the characters just also lost their individuality in their styling.
@@justmarlen No I 100% agree season 6 and 7 being the worst with the girls wearing those uniforms season 7 did give them individual color palettes but they were terribly designed and season 5’s outfits were bad as well also it wasn’t just the fashion sense the girls lost I’m the later seasons it was their personalities as well like they didn’t have any character depth and were all so basic like Stella was the selfish, childish fashion designer who came up with terrible designs and tecna was the smart one who only used logic and didn’t show emotion even tho in season 2 they opened up and had to much character development so I feel like the later seasons didn’t do the winx justice and they deserved better as characters because they are so amazing

The fairy of electricity’s outfit has to do with coils, though arguably it could be the fairy of magnetism. When you have current circulate on coils like that, you are able to generate magnetic fields.

It's actually kinda surprising how they managed to make several amazing green designs, despite green being "not girly" colour
they were quite inventive with the use of colours
I feel like they were more looks with different shade of green than shades of pink

major fairies definitely have the best design wise transformations but the most iconic ones gotta be aurora and diana. the color palettes, the outfit resembling their power and what they partially own just looks so good and omg when i first saw them i started liking them like love from first sight

With Sibylla giving off the vibe of a Celtic fairy, it's making me wish we could see fairies from other parts of earth like fairies from Japan, Africa, or indigenous fairies wearing outfits that reflect their culture
Seeing a indigenous fairy with an outfit inspired by an actual SPECIFIC indigenous peoples tribe would make me genuinely cry because us indigenous people nearly never get rep
It's so sad how they used to put so much effort into background characters but nowdays the winx themselves barely get this much effort ☠I honestly wish we got to see more dark fairies and they explored that possibility. Also I'm not sure if most people know but there's a couple pictures with early sirenix designs which seem to be more inspired by/or meant for Daphne that look a bit better and more flowy.
(and as a side question if you remember can you let me know which shimmer/highlighter you used on your eyes for this look bcs it looks too good, I've been wanting to ask abt this blue shimmer forever 😭)

It's not even translated into Tagalog in our country as a premiere (there is Tagalog translation, but ofc it's always behind), but it used to be a big thing in the Philippines too and a lot of Southeast Asian countries.

I really loved how Winx mixed the olden aesthetics with the modern ones for a fairy. Especially Tecna being a Fairy of Technology. Mirta, Galatea, Dark Bllom and Diaspro had the best and most memorable fairy outfits of them all. Furthermore - Dark Bloom is a whole vibe! We never saw Nova’s. Miele’s was confusing, I do not hate it, but I thought that she was also going to Alfea. Roxy’s still confuses me and generally the lore with the transformations. All the fairies, attending Alfea, have the some ones with their individual characteristics, while the Lynphea and Earth ones were like: “Let’s f*** that sh**!” 😂 Honestly from season 4 upwards the whole lore is like on drugs.

Roxy’s form ended up like that because she was supposed to become the 7th Winx. They gave her Believix in order to fit with the other girls and not be behind them with 2 forms.

If we count Mirta (the original 6th Winx), Roxy is actually the 8th Winx.
I always figured she was a believix fairy bc she's from earth and believix was supposed to be a transformation exclusive to earth (before nick happened obviously)
19:05 I love Galatea. I think the Grecian themes come in because her name comes from Greek Mythology. In the story about her namesake some weirdo Pigmalion (i dunno if i spelt that right) made her as a marbel statue and asked Aphrodite to make her and actual human girl
Glad to hear the praise for all of Diaspro's looks! Even when her character gets super annoying later on she still manages to look great every time. I used to have such mixed feelings on her character because of that, lol
I wish she got more development or was left in the past after season 3, bc tbh I really enjoy her character! I feel like she's got something interesting about her, and her designs are honestly close to #1 for me

daphne's funny to think about cause as a kid i loved looking at her whenever she appeared in the show (both before and during season5) but i dropped the show completely on season 6 even though i liked how daphne was in the first episode of s6 LOL. idk what the reasoning for kid-me dropping the show was but considering the seasonal rot, it was probably for a good reason
it's probably bc her return seemed to be off, and they didn't know what to do with her after

Yes! I love it when you make these specific videos because I've been waiting for someone to talk abt it. But seriously dark bloom was so cool when I first saw her. I'll be honest, the main reason why I tolerate season 4 were the earth fairies cause the looked fantastic and ofc Nabu because he's perfect in every way I hated what happened to him. The countess remined me of a park ranger at first, but fastfood works so much better! Personally, I was the biggest fan of daphne design wise in the first few seasons because she looked absolute serene and out of this world (as she was supposed to) and I was really disappointed when they gave her the sirenix treatment (it hurts). Anyways, it was lovely seeing another video of yours thank you so much :)

I loved this video, it's just incredible how iconic Winx was in terms of cartoon fashion. When I was a kid I was fascinated by these outfits, I also vividly remember how much I loved Diaspro's normal outfit and her transformation. She looked so regal and truly felt like a princess (no hate to my faves Stella and Layla, but they didn't have that vibe).
It would also be great to see you rank the main girls' looks from the comics and albums, they are insanely good, but sadly it's very hard, if not impossible to find images of most of these online :( I'm currently collecting all comics so maybe one day the internet will be blessed by these images if I can upload them!

Diaspro has such an amazing design!! For the first picture I think they took inspo from the art deco era. The headpiece is 1920s for sure and the overall shapes, especially the wings and top, remind of the patterns in this art style, also the asymmetric hemline. The silhouette follows the caracteristic Winx body shape, almost the opposite from de silhouttes from this era, mixed with current beauty standards, that is why they don´t match. Just some thoughts I wanted to share, loved the videoo!!!!

I love Galatea’s design in general, but it’s always bothered me that none of it resembles Melody (the planet) in any way. Sure, it’s music inspired, but it doesn’t have any of that east asian inspo going on. It’s always made me confused and a little disappointed. Like I’d like to see a fanart or st where those elements are implemented in her design. An actual princess of Melody redesign… lowkey wanna go draw it myself 😂
And Daphne…. Like couldn’t we just keep the look she already had? I believe she looked like what we’ve seen in the first seasons before she “died”, so what’s the need for this more bg character redesign?! ;-;

Loved this video like all your Winx content! I remember when I was little how much I enjoyed seeing other secondary characters transform, and I still love it. I wish we had more time for Mirta ti shine tbh. I agree with almost everything here except for Amaryl, I think the colours and wings are great so I would put her in B rather than C.
Diaspro, as we all know, was treated horribly and it feels so sad to me. I wish we had a character development arc for her and she got even maybe an Enchantix for saving someone in her planet and became a better person or something. Always loved her design. She had so much potential.
I also agree that the High Fairies of Earth are probably one of the best designs and I love them. I wish Roxy had this version/transformation instead of an Enchantix if she were to continuw with the group and had her time to shine. Daphne is... something. Once again wasted potential. Not only Sirenix is horrible but i completely agree that they should have gone with an style closer to the Earth Fairies... very sad :(

Like in the nymph form she looked divine, powerful and truly otherworldly and now she looks very... simple? Cute, yes, very much, but she has almost no resemblance to this magical being from the beginning:(

14:40 I'm not gonnna lie, I like this outfit a lot. It looks like it's made out of flower petals and flowers, reminds me of hydrangeas and lilacs. I think it's a good outfit but I can understand why someone wouldn't like it. I've seen a similar dress in real life, maybe that's why I don't think it looks super bad.

If you look at the fairy citisens of the Major fiaries they scream 'Magic Winx' even tho they are earth fairies. So my theory is that every fairy has the 3 stages, magix Winx, Charmix and Entchantix but becouse the earthfairies became ''Major'' fairies and Morgana is a Queen...there Enchantix evolved into a Major form?. Becouse the designs do give Enchantix vibes in a way but evolved. I mean everything past Enachantix are special transformations obtained through trials, or given by some force meaning that Enchantix is indeed the final form of a Fairy but like Faragonda said, the Journey of a Fairy never ends, implying that the universe will grant you other stuf. Flora is a powerfull fairy of nature and she feels the planst but never ever did she had the same connection with nature like she had with Sophix and Diana is literaly the heart of everything green on Earth, like imagin a Fairy being responsible for that. it is creazy. She was weakend bc nature gets attacked every day. So yea Major fairies are in an evolved Enchatix form

Dark Bloom was an amazing design and I really wish they had incorporated it more into later parts of the story as well as her designs going forward.
A lot of these designs overall are absolutely gorgeous, and a lot of these side characters deserved more time in the spotlight.
