if i put the tip of my pinky on the flight plate it makes the disc nose down by pushing up on back of disc and if i put tip of my pinky on the rim it makes it nose up but that could be my grip is naturally a nose up grip until i use my pinky etc.

Wow. I’ve been doing some living room carpet work and that’s a lot of power coming through.

Fantastic video, Will! It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on the terminology change over the last few years, where some people are moving away from terms like reachback, pull, and pullthrough, for terms like extend, backswing and swing. Even the term "reach out" - which had some popularity in the recent years to eliminate rounding, is being replaced with "extend" to bring the arm out during the backswing. It makes me wonder how so many people got so good either because or despite those terms. Regardless, thank you for your time, and it's always exciting to see you play. 🙂

I think some terms are thrown out there just to sound different. Im not sure how you could get away from a basic term like "reachback".

When talking about speed wobbles - it makes this Advanced Series not to feel very advanced. More of learning grandma to get better.
It is as when the Finnish instructor on his channel talks about disc golfers most common mistake is that they hit their own stomach when throwing.. and how to address that…
I have seen all of Will-movies on TH-cam - teaching in a superb way.
I found myself a very slightly different way to hold my disc - in which I picked up by enlarging Wills grip.
I am a power grip dude already - but how to align the disc very slightly in your hand - to have a 2 degree change on your disc at release can get you somewhere.
But yes. Every disc golfers hands are different. But I guess there are far more significant body measurements that is more important. Length of arms, flexibility concerns.
I have yet only seen 4 minutes of the clip. My ADHD is not allowing me a longer attention span. But I hope - and surely will - is that it’s gonna get better.
    “This is called a run-up…”
At 13:20 into the video - I can not see you holding the important straight line. Your disc is far off the body, and moves into your body. More as the “tucking in” your left arm as a figure skater.
Seems like it is easy to oversimplify details such a as “straight line”. I believe there are even more details that could be brought up to attention in this video.

I cant make it through the video sounds like a robot very unnatural and scripted sounding. Maybe learn the line and just say it rather than read it word for word.

Chat GPT written? A little personality goes a long way. I appreciate the effort and your videos are helpful, but the robotic delivery puts me to sleep.
