I must say, there are a lot of bf1 cinematics, even today, that show these one man army badasses that can't be stopped. But this shows what reality of it all: War is brutal, and does not care who you are, badass or not. It's a very good cinematic good job. I know I'm late to the party but it's still great.

The horror of the reality of war. It destroys everyone. Even if the person themselves are not physically wounded, there is no erasing the carnage they see. No erasing the horrors burned into there mind forever. This is why I feel civilians and people need to see what soldiers see. not censored crap that hides the grimn reality.

You are NOT getting the attention you deserve. This is beyond trailer quality, this looks so well made there's some points where I question whether this is real life or not. Excellent work.
I came back to tell you that I cannot believe you have also seen The World Wars Series from History. That song you used has fit in so well with this video.
Last part with the soldier crying hit me hard. All those men went and fought in a place that looked like hell on earth: brothers, fathers, sons, uncles, grandfathers... all of them went there, far away from home. Poor souls endured so much on both sides. World War 1 was such a sad and pointless war.
Felt really bad for that guy. What else can you do in an inferno like that with no escape? Just sit and weep, broken, and nobody can help you. What a horrible thing war is.

Thats the beauty of BF1, it makes u think of your actions afterward like how many of the soldiers then thought they were doing their jobs, not realizing their horrific actions until afterward.

Battlefield 1 has such a good immersion and it's as chaotic as WW1 is, every game makes you feel like you are in WW1, just take a shot with the Spectator mode and you will have an amazing scene. But for some reason , some guys thinks it's good do a cinematic that shows WW1 like a Happy things 🥳. In any case, the cinematography of your shirtfilm its just perfect. The representation of WW1 really well done and idk how you do the animations but that makes the video even better. You deserve a lot more views.
My favourite War video of all time now. It was so extremely moving and it portrayed WW1 better than any war movies in the history of technology. Great job dude. Please make more of these very saddening and moving videos to show how war can make people suffer.
Verdun and more recently beyond the wire portray the Great War much better. Real trench warfare and bolt action rifles, not the explosive and automatic weapon spam of bf1
Possibly the best Battlefield 1 cinematic out there, even DICE would have a hard time topping this. The custom animations are wonderfully done, and the tone of it all is hauntingly beautiful. This deserves so much more attention.

Freaking amazing. Some of the shots were just simple stunning. Although I do have some stuff that stands out: certain scenes, running soldiers or tank rolling, you could see the characters/vehicles clip on something, some sort of obstacle and they have this unnatural jump/flinch on them. It's really noticeable when paying attention. If you can hide that somehow, it will be perfect

This is an incredible mix of animations and gameplay. Really nicely done!! One thing that those animations made me think: I can just imagine how games in 20 years are gonna be so advanced that you could practically move yourself in front of your screen and the game would scan your movement and place your body accurately in the game. We could even do this already but its still pretty low quality. If the movements are almost 100% straight copied into the game it would actually feel really awesome but also extremely creepy at the same time
This is purely amazing, you got everything that make this war so horrible and disastrous. We can fell even if it's just a little what they felt and what they fought for, what they had to go trough and just for that I want to thank you, it touched me right in the heart (I even cried I actually very rarely cry) Thanks again and keep doing such amazing cinematics !

This was stunning. It's amazing how wonderful Battlefield 1 is and it's stunning environment. But this reminds us to not glorify war. How much of a hell it is. Many brave men risked their lives on the battlefield and let us not forget those on the other side. Absolutely amazing this video.
Normally cinematics will jus have gameplay over music but this one is jus so perfect cus its so real even to the point of which (and this might not be intentional) were the german machine gunner has was the assault who if which has that special helmat one u know where it has a extra sheet of armour and in real life thats exactly what it was made for

You made an art piece that deserves more credit. Normally I woudn' t comment on videos but your film was so amazing that I decided to write a comment which isn't something I do. I love how your film doesn't focus on just one soldier and that soldier is the best soldier but, you focus on the soldiers fighting. Where did you get the animations and thanks to the dark uniforms provided by the game it made it more dark and sad. You made me feel bad for video game characters and that is amazing! Also my favorite scenes is the scenes with the Germans in them because it shows them losing but, other bf1 films show Germans winning but they were losing and you showed that.

Wow this was amazing, how did you get all those animations to look so clean. Also for the scene with the soldiers in the trench did you need players/actors for that or did you somehow spawn models in? I would love to know because I like to create cinematic myself but it's hard to find players willing to play a role. You earned a sub for this wonderful video.
It's motion capture and hand animated :) - The trench, well because it's a static camera I duplicated myself many times in different positions - if you check my twitter @robert_stoneman I created a behind the scene gif of the process in one of the shots. I did another BF3 Machinima called ONE. Used around 20/30 extras for that. It's hard work but good fun. Usually Clans are better as they work together.

Seeing all the soldiers with Shellshock in game is just sad. I spare them as much as possible
