@Can Kara is what i think when seeing alíen covenant, they get in to an unknown planet whitout helment. If a virus or a bacteria get in their body what could happend.
@@agustinescobar7072 nah, alien life would be too different from us. Take a virus, for example. It has instruments to enter your body, your cells, rewrite your dna and produce its own components. But alien life wouldn't have that, because they'd consist of other different molecules and stuff. And obviously it would be impossible for them to hack our dna, because they are so different, like they don't have keys for our locks. Even though we think that organisms on Earth differ from each other a lot, we all have dna (in virus' case, sometimes only rna), similar molecules and basic structure. Aliens wouldn't have that. For our body, they would be like a plastic. P. S. I meant mostly carbon-based life, in other cases differences will be even more extreme. I didn't mention other possible effects, like aliens giving off dangerous chemicals. That obviously would effect us.
@@danzoom Alien life wouldn't necessarily use different molecules. I depends on things we don't have the answers to. How did life arise? Is the life we see on Earth the only way life can exist? We don't know.

The martian technology would give rise to computers, robotics, generators, the heat ray, and many more decades before we were even scratching the surface of this technology.
@@thephantom8403 well, here is my own custom sequel. the 2nd great martian war (1939 - 1946) several decades later since the first martian invasion, the allies & the central powers are still recovering, but proud of their victory in "world war 1". they also started to manifest & reverse engineer the alien technology into their new rising armies for the coming generations. some smaller countries were wiped out, while others had begun an arms race to see who will dominate the future generations. with their martian technology. september 22, 1938- tensions began to rise as scientists & astronomers from around the world make an alarming discovery while observing asteroids, they were unlike any other body that they've seen before. the rocks appear to have odd shapes and emitting light. it is then found out that those are not asteroids, but alien ships heading towards earth. april 12, 1939- without warning, militaries begun to mobilise & world leaders conducted a meeting on this new threat. the martian ships landed mostly in europe & africa, others in asia & russia, & some in the west from canada to argentina. then, the world leaders finally agreed to declare war on the ivaders. the 2nd martian war had begun. january 11, 1940- as troops begin mobilising across the world, it was already too late, the invaders had fired the first shot. the european theatre saw a series of skirmishes & intense fighting break out all across europe. the pacific theatre is engaged in a defensive position followed by guerilla warfare tactics in the island jungles. may 7, 1941- russia & the united sates had sealed it's most important borders & on the lookout for any threats that may be coming one day. in the same year, all news broadcasts were forced off the air, & only the highest level of their governments have access to such info about the outside world. jan 16, 1942- as the war raged on, the ivaders launched an invasion of london & were now threatening paris. the brits held firm, but at the cost of many lives. meanwhile in africa, the ivaders began to emerge as only a handful of troops were present there at the time. the invaders were being halted temporarily in the pacific, as they were caught off guard by new guerilla tactics. some groups of japanese, chinese, korean, filipino, indian, & vietnamese fanatics used the treelines as cover, & as booby traps for the martians. feb 4, 1942- the two world powers decide to unite their neighboring countries under one banner. the west is united from canada all the way down to argentina & russia gathers all it's countries nearby to form a new union to strengthen their war efforts. march 24, 1943- both american & russian scientists were hardline invested into researching new weapons against the invaders. they put hard work into the research for the future. meanwhile, both countries are now ready for bloody violence. april 13, 1943- russia launched an offensive in warsaw & stalingrad, the russian troops fought bravely while the tripods towered over them. since then, russia had now moved it's factories far from the fronlines to continue producing new weapons & vehicles. the westerners land in great britain, where they helped the population & the military fend off the martian onslaught. june 6, 1944- the westerners launched an invasion into normandy where units were tasked with breaking through the martian attacks before spain, france,& germany's defenses fall. some at utah & omaha, others at juno, gold, & sword. a large squadron of fighters & dive bombers destroyed forified positions. next, elite units were dropped behind enemy lines to raid coastline defenses & preventing the invaders from sending in reinforcements . then a massive fleet of american warships shelled the beach to dust. finally tens of hundreds of amphibious landing crafts were en route towards the coast. here is where the most brutal fighting will ensue, especially at omaha, it was a bloody & ferocious battle, the sea water drenched in blood, corpses with missing limbs littered the shoreline, & smoke & fire blocked out the sun. it was a dark day for mankind, but it was enough for the allies to break through. meanwhile, the pacific theatre begins to slowly collapse. it seemed hopeless, but then, it came. following d-day, the west begins another series of brutal fighting. these units were tasked with the island hopping campaigns led by dwight d. eisenhower. the westerners saw the horrendous fighting from midway, to the philippines & finally at okinawa. the pacific saw vicious guerilla fighting & naval warfare with thousands of troops losing their lives in both the jungles & at sea. and the campaign continued for some time. august 9 1944- with 2 million battle-ready troops equipped with new weapons, russia launches a massive invasion, pushing through the martian lines & closing in on eastern poland. in africa, the holdouts are fighting on, but running low on supplies & ammunition. general patton, along with rommel, decide to put a quick end to the martian threat before they run dry of supplies. then, suddenly, some martians emerged in the west as well, the war is also being fought on the american homefront. the battle was vicious lasting 12 days, but the invaders were driven off. october 6, 1944- the first successful tests of the very first long range ballistic missiles were recorded in new mexico. with albert einstein figuring out the key to splitting atoms, & werhner von braun"s investments in rocket technology. the new weapon is said to be capable of wiping out a small city. they nicknamed it the v-2. and labled it as a 'vengeance weapon'. march 22, 1945- the westerners entered paris, greeting beaten up & rejoiced french troops & resistance fighters. they long since abandoned the concept of three-legged tripods, & staged tanks, artillery, & the new 'BT-62 bipedal warmech' battle walkers around the city. meanwhile, the martians are now being driven back by the russians, with air superiority, eastern poland is now free and are pushing closer & closer to berlin where the german defenses are still standing, possibly trapping the aliens. july 21, 1945- the fighting in africa is barely holding on, the invaders launch a huge offensive against the defenders. in somalia, a small defense is now under threat from the martians & begin sending out distress calls to anyone within their reach. by that time, the new 'vengeance weapon' is ready for war. the invaders were pressing on their massive onslaught, the west was ready for a fight. only a few rockets were fired at the invaders, but it did what it was designed & intended to do: obliterating small cities. a large portion of the invaders were wiped out, with the few remaining getting taken care of by incoming backup. there were also confirmed reports that the martians had setup hives in unpopulated areas. the west fired the rest of their rockets at the disclosed locations, destroying the invaders' critical means of production. november 28, 1945- the brutal island campaigns were horrendous, but are slowly tipping to the allies' favor. the philippines is taken, & okinawa is next. back in europe, both the west & the east closed in on the aliens from both sides, with russian troops marching through poland, and arriving in berlin. the people rejoiced when the russian forces arrived. january 8, 1946- the invaders attempt a last ditch effort against mankind, by amassing the last of their forces in the pacific. by that time, the west has another bundle of v2s ready for use. they fired them at the invaders' mass of troops, which nearly obliterated all of them. & the russian forces are now at their very doorstep. febuary 14, 1946- with no more resources, exhausted troops , & crippled production, what follows is the downfall of an extraterrestrial empire, destined for world domination, and on the 14th of febuary, the last of the martian invaders were all wiped out with only a handful of them surrendering. the 2nd martian war is finally over. the world celebrated as the conflict was finally coming to a close, but it will take time to rebuild their great nations & heal mother earth's wounds. but every single person & soldier cherished this moment for untold generations to come. the war was devastating, the entire world was scarred, but this war will mark history as mankind's most resounding achievement & breakthrough. decades later, in april 3 1984, a veteran wrote a book about his experience & the war itself, he then published it across the world for the newer generations to learn about. ensuring that mankind's greatest achievement, & all of those who fought for it will live on forever. THE END.. :)

"Our guns were useless. Our lives torn to pieces. Hell wasn't below is, it rained down on us from the sky." I got this quote from a documentary still up on yt
I sat in the cold, steel turret of my Pz.Kpfw VI Ausf. E, I rested my head against the back of the cupola to keep a look out for Allied vehicles, my gunner was pressed against his scope, my loader sat down with an APCBC round, the radio operator held his MG34 and my driver had his palm on the gear stick. No vehicles in sight, something else actually... The thing had three thin and tall mechanical legs and a large object on top that lowered a few tentacle like things, I didn't hesitate to attack, I shouted for my driver to reverse and my gunner to traverse to one and a half o'clock, I didn't even need to give the order to fire, an 8,8cm Panzergeräten 39 APCBC shell sliced through the object's mid section causing the fuze to explode within, ripping the head like object apart, I heard the clanking of my inexperienced loader putting another round in. Two days later after that terrifying engagement did it all come together, on the radio I heard about "Martians" attacking, I was confused as ****, then it was just like that, I remembered, my dad wasn't mental all along, he wasn't just scared of an odd tree, it was one of those - things!
After reading this i realised the tank commander didnt take his history lessons very well And that he was supplied with the cheaper equipment and no briefing
in Argentina, one of our most famous comics is called "The Ethernaut". In it, an alien invasion takes place in our capital, Buenos Aires. I won't go on and explain the whole story because it's just too long. Enough to say that it shows many significant places being overrun by insectoids aliens, kinda like Starship Troopers. I remember going to a museum once with my aunt where there was a whole section showing a bunch of pictures, artifacts, and personal belongings of people as if the invasion had actually taken place. You'd see maps showing where the aliens were fought, parts of aliens "recovered" from the battlefield, even whole dioramas of the battles. These memories came to my head the moment I saw this. It's as if, for a moment, you were able to peer into another reality, one where this whole thing actually happened. So so surreal.

There was actually a short story along these lines, although I forget its name. It was set later on, like mid-late 20th century. Basically the aliens came from a desert world and so the idea of something like a submarine was totally foreign to them. They occupy most of the world with relative ease, only to get roasted by a surprise SLBM attack.

Not even we are excented from that very same weakness.
"We thought this campaign would be easy. Among the native species, the dominant one hadn't discovered the secrets of interstellar travel, or energy weapons... But that didn't stop them from attacking our scout forces... Their numbers and their mindless ferocity made up for the overwhelming difference in technology. They are a primitive, brutal, but incredibly effective warrior society. We were used to subjugate worlds where many species fought each other, but these primitive, carbon-based life forms nearly wiped out all other large predators. They care so little about themselves and about their ecosystem that they ingest toxic alcohol as a form of barbaric rite and have no worries about poisoning their only biosphere. They go against all laws of nature or equilibrium. Their internal organs have evolved to ingest quantities of toxins that would kill any other local species, and their endurance is extraordinary. They have evolved to resist and kill creatures far larger than themselves... They have an obscene and cruel culture. They enjoy the horrid spectacle of war since their early days alive, and even act those images of death and destruction for their entertainment... The thought of willingly exposing themselves to the horrors of combat makes me shudder. We see it as a duty that must be done, but these primitives worship warfare. They have no construction or bioengineering castes. They have no noticeable differences in their morphology: Every single 'human' is a trooper... Maybe that is why they have completely overtaken this planet. No other species can compete against their biology or their violent nature, and adding that to their alarmingly high reproduction rates, we are fighting a temible opponent. Unstoppable. Like a plague, we cannot kill them one by one or in large numbers. They simply hide and come back. They charge against our vehicles several times their size as if they didn't have any basic instinct of survival. Their endless waves overwhelm our forces and cut our retreat. They have resisted our assaults and our offensives, and even the regions we manage to capture are plagued by patrols of lone primitives more than willing to fight us. Without the resources to recover our loses, it was a matter of time until we were put on the defensive... This campaign was doomed from the beginning. These primitives have adapted. They integrated our particle ray technology to their surprisingly simple metal wagons and handguns and are now using it to drive our forces away from their population centers. They have captured many of our vehicles, and have learned to fight with them. We built our vehicles to be intimidating as a major factor, something that has worked well in the countless planted that we have conquered... But the primitives lost their fear of us as if it never existed. What kind of malevolent intelligence do these creatures posess? It simply makes no sense. They lack the basic instincts to escape from a stronger species. They do not fear us. How were we supposed to fight them? But this is no bravery of their part. They are born that way. It's in their nature. They are compulsive predators, not satiated during peace. They must fight, even against each other to find contentment. In the end, this campaign was a victory for them. We were the ones to give them our technology and a completely new resolve. By the time our main fleet arrives to this hellish world, these creatures will not be taken by surprise. Now I am afraid of the consequences of these primitives capturing our equipment and learning how to use it. We should have left this decadent place alone and undiscovered... ... What have we done? What have we unleashed upon the stars?"

@@agustinescobar7072 well, thats kind of what happened but with spores
Bacteria: do i really to have to this damn humans evolving slowly
Bacteria: *grabs infinite pathogens* ok ill do it humans
@@danzoom Alien life wouldn't necessarily use different molecules. I depends on things we don't have the answers to. How did life arise? Is the life we see on Earth the only way life can exist? We don't know.

The martian technology would give rise to computers, robotics, generators, the heat ray, and many more decades before we were even scratching the surface of this technology.
@@thephantom8403 well, here is my own custom sequel. the 2nd great martian war (1939 - 1946)
several decades later since the first martian invasion, the allies & the central powers are still recovering, but proud of their victory in "world war 1". they also started to manifest & reverse engineer the alien technology into their new rising armies for the coming generations.
some smaller countries were wiped out, while others had begun an arms race to see who will dominate the future generations.
with their martian technology.
september 22, 1938- tensions began to rise as scientists & astronomers from around the world make an alarming discovery while observing asteroids, they were unlike any other body that they've seen before. the rocks appear to have odd shapes and emitting light. it is then found out that those are not asteroids, but alien ships heading towards earth.
april 12, 1939- without warning, militaries begun to mobilise & world leaders conducted a meeting on this new threat.
the martian ships landed mostly in europe & africa, others in asia & russia, & some in the west from canada to argentina.
then, the world leaders finally agreed to declare war on the ivaders.
the 2nd martian war had begun.
january 11, 1940- as troops begin mobilising across the world, it was already too late, the invaders had fired the first shot.
the european theatre saw a series of skirmishes & intense fighting break out all across europe.
the pacific theatre is engaged in a defensive position followed by guerilla warfare tactics in the island jungles.
may 7, 1941- russia & the united sates had sealed it's most important borders & on the lookout for any threats that may be coming one day.
in the same year, all news broadcasts were forced off the air, & only the highest level of their governments have access to such info about the outside world.
jan 16, 1942- as the war raged on, the ivaders launched an invasion of london & were now threatening paris. the brits held firm, but at the cost of many lives.
meanwhile in africa, the ivaders began to emerge as only a handful of troops were present there at the time.
the invaders were being halted temporarily in the pacific, as they were caught off guard by new guerilla tactics. some groups of japanese, chinese, korean, filipino, indian, & vietnamese fanatics used the treelines as cover, & as booby traps for the martians.
feb 4, 1942- the two world powers decide to unite their neighboring countries under one banner. the west is united from canada all the way down to argentina & russia gathers all it's countries nearby to form a new union to strengthen their war efforts.
march 24, 1943- both american & russian scientists were hardline invested into researching new weapons against the invaders.
they put hard work into the research for the future. meanwhile, both countries are now ready for bloody violence.
april 13, 1943- russia launched an offensive in warsaw & stalingrad, the russian troops fought bravely while the tripods towered over them. since then, russia had now moved it's factories far from the fronlines to continue producing new weapons & vehicles.
the westerners land in great britain, where they helped the population & the military fend off the martian onslaught.
june 6, 1944- the westerners launched an invasion into normandy where units were tasked with breaking through the martian attacks before spain, france,& germany's defenses fall. some at utah & omaha, others at juno, gold, & sword.
a large squadron of fighters & dive bombers destroyed forified positions. next, elite units were dropped behind enemy lines to raid coastline defenses & preventing the invaders from sending in reinforcements .
then a massive fleet of american warships shelled the beach to dust.
finally tens of hundreds of amphibious landing crafts were en route towards the coast.
here is where the most brutal fighting will ensue, especially at omaha, it was a bloody & ferocious battle, the sea water drenched in blood, corpses with missing limbs littered the shoreline, & smoke & fire blocked out the sun.
it was a dark day for mankind, but it was enough for the allies to break through.
meanwhile, the pacific theatre begins to slowly collapse. it seemed hopeless, but then, it came.
following d-day, the west begins another series of brutal fighting. these units were tasked with the island hopping campaigns led by dwight d. eisenhower. the westerners saw the horrendous fighting from midway, to the philippines & finally at okinawa.
the pacific saw vicious guerilla fighting & naval warfare with thousands of troops losing their lives in both the jungles & at sea.
and the campaign continued for some time.
august 9 1944- with 2 million battle-ready troops equipped with new weapons, russia launches a massive invasion, pushing through the martian lines & closing in on eastern poland.
in africa, the holdouts are fighting on, but running low on supplies & ammunition. general patton, along with rommel, decide to put a quick end to the martian threat before they run dry of supplies.
then, suddenly, some martians emerged in the west as well, the war is also being fought on the american homefront. the battle was vicious lasting 12 days, but the invaders were driven off.
october 6, 1944- the first successful tests of the very first long range ballistic missiles were recorded in new mexico. with albert einstein figuring out the key to splitting atoms, & werhner von braun"s investments in rocket technology. the new weapon is said to be capable of wiping out a small city. they nicknamed it the v-2. and labled it as a 'vengeance weapon'.
march 22, 1945- the westerners entered paris, greeting beaten up & rejoiced french troops & resistance fighters. they long since abandoned the concept of three-legged tripods, & staged tanks, artillery, & the new 'BT-62 bipedal warmech' battle walkers around the city.
meanwhile, the martians are now being driven back by the russians, with air superiority, eastern poland is now free and are pushing closer & closer to berlin where the german defenses are still standing, possibly trapping the aliens.
july 21, 1945- the fighting in africa is barely holding on, the invaders launch a huge offensive against the defenders. in somalia, a small defense is now under threat from the martians & begin sending out distress calls to anyone within their reach.
by that time, the new 'vengeance weapon' is ready for war. the invaders were pressing on their massive onslaught, the west was ready for a fight.
only a few rockets were fired at the invaders, but it did what it was designed & intended to do: obliterating small cities. a large portion of the invaders were wiped out, with the few remaining getting taken care of by incoming backup.
there were also confirmed reports that the martians had setup hives in unpopulated areas. the west fired the rest of their rockets at the disclosed locations, destroying the invaders' critical means of production.
november 28, 1945- the brutal island campaigns were horrendous, but are slowly tipping to the allies' favor. the philippines is taken, & okinawa is next.
back in europe, both the west & the east closed in on the aliens from both sides, with russian troops marching through poland, and arriving in berlin. the people rejoiced when the russian forces arrived.
january 8, 1946- the invaders attempt a last ditch effort against mankind, by amassing the last of their forces in the pacific.
by that time, the west has another bundle of v2s ready for use. they fired them at the invaders' mass of troops, which nearly obliterated all of them.
THE END.. :)

@@krysc3278, russian war doctrine when WW2 started was: "on a foreign land with LITTLE blood" - as little as possible of their own casualties and as much as possible of the enemy's, the high losses in 1941 and 1942 are due to the superiority of the German army both in equipment and training (do not forget that Germany had already been at war for 2 years), and even in mass (7m of Wehrmacht troops vs 5m Red army troops at June of 1941).
Also, for the tactics of zerg rush, commissars and commanders were often sent to the penal battalions - you can find this in the memories of soldiers.

@@Geshiko-GuP We're like rats. To alien species on their way to eradicate us; I'd like to see you try. You may kill more than half of our population, but you can be damn well sure we'll come back stronger.
And they are still beated by micro organisms, i guess they didnt learned from their first invasion. Fun fact: during WWI over 40 million humans did died from viral infection: influenza AH1N1 killed more people during 1915-1918 than all the deaths caused as a direct consequence of WWI AND WWII summed.
