Like always another informative video! I watched your videos before my trip to India last year, thanks for all the tips and info!!! Your almost at 1mil subs 🙀 well deserved.. 😉
Small world story: I used to work in the Kingdom of Eswatini in Southern Africa, and I knew this couple I used to work with there. Some months later I left to move back to the US but never had the chance to say goodbye to that couple. About a month later I was in a random shopping mall in Virginia and I was looking around when I heard someone call my name from behind...it was the couple I used to work with! The odds of being in that mall, in that area, in that State, at that exact moment was insane!! I was shocked!! Another one: I did some travelling in New Zealand and I met this girl there, and we just chatted for about a day or so while travelling on a bus. We parted ways, no biggie. Then about a month later I was staying in a hostel in Sydney Australia, and when I walked in the common area I heard someone call my name. It was that girl!! It was amazing to see her, again, in Australia, in that city, in that very hostel. I wish I got her Facebook tho...but who knows I'll probably bump into her again some day lol
lord pochinki Oh that’s cool, Maranhão has a beautiful French colonial part of the capital São Luis and has a giant dune area with lakes in it known as the lençóis maranhenses or the “Maranhão Sheets” because it resembles folds in sheets. I don’t know why I became a Maranhão tourism person but I’m just saying that it’s a cool place.
Karl When I was stationed at Fort Riley Kansas I had an army friend Named Hodge There in 1982 Then I get transferred to Germany To a new unit two year later after That I ran into Hodge in Southern Bavaria Germany Clear across the world Where he got transferred to Are to army units in Germany were 300 km apart That was a surreal moment

Yo Karl thank you for just posting. In these hard times knowing someone we care about, even though we don’t know the person irl, posting to TH-cam helps us know that at least someone we care about is Ok!! Thank you
When I visit Delhi again I would love to meet you and shake your hand. Been following you since you had 100k subs and wanting to see you cross 2 million!
It was (20yrs ago) at night just before monsoon season so ridiculously hot and humid in Delhi. No one could sleep so all were out walking the streets. It was cheek to to cheek with the occasional cow. Suddenly an arm grabs me through the steamy crowd. It was the brother of a friend of mine from our rural town in Australia. What are the odds? Also met a guy in McLeod Ganj and ran into him on a very crowded street in Bangkok 10 yrs later!
Amazing video Karl!! Oh ya you should love that picture WID shopkeeper n police because you looked too handsome like a movie star shooting a movie seriously
Saying it from the bottom of my heart, you're the most genuine and transparent person I've seen. Probably those few youtubers who doesn't sponsor brands. Following you since you had 50k subs. Love from naraina, Delhi ❤
Karl, I hope I run into you someday whenever I get to come back to India. Hopefully the lock down will end soon. I would like to thank you for all the help I got from your videos when I went the first time to India. It made the trip so much easier and when I went back the 2nd time, I felt I was among so many dear friends. Thanks again.
What an incredible story Karl. Something similar happened to me. I was flying out of the airport in Jabalpur after going to Bandhavgarh NP. My flight was delayed by 5 hours and I didn't have a SIM card to call a friend's driver who was waiting for me in Delhi. I had never been to Delhi so the driver was going to pick me up and take me to my hotel. I was sitting on this small plane worrying about how I could contact him and whether he had left the airport when I looked at computer screen of the person next to me. It turned out we worked for the same (global) company and we happened to report into the same exec. He arranged everything with the driver and even invited me to his family home for Diwali (I had never experienced such hospitality before).
I love your channel. Thank you for sharing your life experiences with us and putting out videos so often! I know it takes a lot of work and dedication and I am very thankful for people like you who share their art with the world. This is a creative way to be an artist and your aim to help others is admirable. You're paying great respect to these cultures and sharing what some people will never be able to see. You are a good man Karl. I'm an avid supporter and fan!
Karl! Thanks for posting right now! I am finally awake for an upload. Looking at that photo, your life is such an adventure. I wish I could live as freely and fealessly as you do. How did you get the courage to make that leap? I know in past videos you have called yourself selfish (in jest), but there has to be something more, that gives you such amazing. courage... For example, my parents are old, and I amafraid to leave the area I grew up, because I dont want them to die and me not be here. Ultimately I am living in fear of something that WILL happen, but may not happen for 20 years. I am afraid to live my dreams out of fear. How can I get out of this rutt Karl?
Yeah, posted earlier today 😀 I have a lot of content to get out. I think I'm going to get it out then go back to scam videos for a bit... tons of Hindi scams happening which are annoying me.
I checked the GPS on my phone and it said it goes to Jammu. I didn't have any backup battery, so I tried not to use my phone much. Hence why there's only 1 photo from this area
Karl it’s because you have a pure heart. Purity in Kashmir and purity in Rock garden you had the same mind set in both places. You are linked with those guys cosmically
I really loved your 3 videos about this adventure you had. I think you feel like it was stupid in a lot of ways, but your "did it!" I am so glad that your brother-in-law was OK...and you were OK. But, as an American expat who has lived in Japan for over 30 years, I love your channel, and this great trilogy of stories is one of the reasons. Peace!

Outstanding Karl, I used to tutor the grandson of the Health Minister for Srinigar area, he was a GP in London always wanted to visit there. Was very old but we chatted for hours after tutor sessions. How sre the Travel Business plans progressing ? Looking at many of your trips the off the betean track places are much more interesting than the usual hotspots good as they may be. Be safe.
Hi. It's not going atm haha. We'll have to launch it next year now. I hope to launch with Kashmir as an option... It all depends on situation there improvin though :(
Karl, can you please make a video on the Goan and Anglo Indian community in India? I'm pretty sure that everyone would love to see it. They're pretty awesome with their food and Indo Western culture :)
(Bit long but: ) My story: I'm in England and worked as a social worker years ago in the west of England in the 1970s and 80s. I'm working with a new client with intense problems, but she was very unwilling to share with me, a male - which i could understand - and early on pointedly told me just how much she'd 'connected' with her previous female social worker, who'd left before I arrived in post. Shame I couldn't talk with her before she'd left ..ah well. Some six months later I'm holidaying first time ever in the USA, in a famous beauty spot's Youth Hostel. (I know absolutely no one in that area...but I'd come there from staying with a Brit relative in Missouri who'd asked me to let her know where I stayed in USA. So just earlier I'd phoned her - I was in 'X' YH, and was OK) A few minutes later there's a knock at the YH door and a voice says 'Is (my name) there please?' Big burly guy - I was a bit cautious but he explained my relative had just rung him and explained I was at the YH. Turns out the guy had worked with my Missouri relative's husband in England in the past and they'd been great friends. 'Would I like to stay a few days with him, wife and son' - they'll show me round the area etc?.' I checked with my relative, and she confirmed she'd called - so Great - I stay in their RV (caravan) a few nights... Note: that's Coincidence No. 1. Next day I'm with their adult son, going round this lovely beauty spot. Hundreds of visitors. We overhear a couple up ahead - (very British accents) 'No dear, let ME take the photo of you instead! Then you take a photo of me...' So I say 'Scuse me both - I'm a Brit by the way...how about I simply take the photo of both of you together?' Got talking afterwards - 'where do you live in UK?' I told 'em I live in (big city)' 'Oh really!' - said the woman, 'I worked in the local Authority there till this year..' Long story short ... we eventually narrowed it down that she had worked in the Social Work Dept...the same client group etc...and she was this lady's previous social worker!!! So, eight thousand or whatever miles away from my work, we walked aside and had a private discussion re our mutual client...and this lady was able to give some really helpful 'ways in' to gain my client's trust and support her myself. It greatly allowed me to help her ongoing into the future... So not one, but two major 'Coincidences (as a Christian, though I actually see it as an answer to prayer!). I've never forgotten that.
We were visiting Hatchepsut temple in Egypt as a part of a tour group and while there we ran into a classmate of our son who we know very well. We were awestruck by the odds of something like this happening since the tour group we were in had made changes to the schedule for that day making our presence at the temple an unplanned event resulting in this unlikely encounter.

I know a very wierd coincidence, in the firm I am working as a Manager we have to give a final nod to HR for hiring someone. I gave a Nod to a girl who joined in, the next month she was in training - a trainer was assigned to her. Coincidentally after being selected she went to Shimla from Delhi to celebrate, the trainer also went to Shimla to chill before the assignment. They did not know each other and he was sitting next to her at a McDonald's there I believe. She was in his photos and he was in hers. When the girl met the trainer she came and showed me the pic, afterwards sadly people talked about how she was selected by me because of influence. That was a coincidence that made me blow my mind.

I have an amazing story. I was visiting Italy and taking a train from Rome to Venice and meet these girls that are locals. They invite me to this small black and white party that night. I go and meet these 3 girls that are from America. I start talking to them and long story short the one girl lives with my family member in Tampa Florida where I am from. My mind was blown. I live in Clearwater Florida I am in another country get invited to a little tiny party with people I don’t know and meet a girl that lives with my cousin. Unreal. I learned just how small the world truly is that day! Craziest thing that has ever happen to me!
Fellow Kiwi here, really enjoyed your story, what a great experience to have. I've also traveled and am currently living overseas. What strikes me is that If your plan had gone 'right' you wouldn't have been open to that day's opportunity to make new friends, leading to that meeting in the gardens. I feel that life is most meaningful when I'm more flexible to things going 'wrong' in my life, because what makes life rich isn't the unfolding of my rigid pre-determined plans, but the happy surprises and new connections that being out of my comfort zone generates..

Karl, it’s great to see you looking back to your normal self again.
Exhilarating. Refreshing. Enlightening.
Ram Ram Bro.
Love From Rewari💓
Karl do you like trekking? I would suggest you do trekking in Himalayas.
That's very true Chris!
Hey keep up the good work
Love you karl love ur video
♥️ Karl Rock ♥️
I love the way you talk to your mother in law in Hindi. You should do an interview with her in Hindi.
The picture is so heart warming though
quick question, do you like boy to boy
Man-to-Man or Uncle-to-Uncle only for me 😁
@@KarlRock What does it mean 😂
@Lalit singh if you like boy-to-boy that means you like to play minecraft together. Man-to-man or uncle-to-uncle is when you enjoy playing Rummy
