At 7:53, for builders it’s a good idea to use a lightblock. They emit light based on a level and they can be used anywhere.
The command to get this block is as follows:
/give @s light_block 1 (referring to the amount) 14 (referring to the light level, this being the maximum. They go from 1-14).
