The main problem with RN is not the simple HelloWorld setup it's problem with eco-system one lib breaks the whole app and most of the tutorials show only Expo which also breaks on version upgrades. No one shares about RN development
For those who have 4 GB laptop its enough yes you need more time because of 4 GB but don't lose motivation because of the specification you can build do some freelancing projects or internships in RNative and upgrade your system... I became a React Native developer with 4 GB
my 8 GB laptop keeps on crashing whenever I run AVD and Android Studio and running it on 4gm RAM is next to impossible, recently I upgraded my RAM to 16 GB, now it is running well, upgrading to 16 GB will only cost 2-3k
@@FirstnameLastname-cl4op true, people just want to sound motivational by saying 4/8gb is enough for android dev just because they did the same. If you want to earn money with app development, you must invest in a good setup otherwise get ready to pay with your time.

I am Employee with 3YOE.. working in cyber security project.. but i want to switch to developer as I have no interest in cyber security.. I have done android developement in past and built some 3 4 apps (native).. so I want to switch as a mobile app developer.. but now confused as should I continue with native app development considering my previous background.. or should I learn hybrid app development (this, I will have to start from scratch).. Please I need genuine advice.
One thing has been noticed that in Mobile Development , Only learning Flutter, or only Kotlin is not enough, cause jobs are requiring Native + Hybrid ( at least 1 from each) tech stacks & other things like Database, Backend ( Node.js ...etc) I personally also have noticed that as a Flutter developer myself for almost 3 years. and also, One thing is observed that even though with common sense it looks like Mobile dev is in demand, but why there are so less job openings in companies. What are your suggestions/thoughts on this ? Thank You.
Because for anyone who wants to launch a software product, they would choose to target web first for accessibility purpose. You can make your product accessible on all the platforms through a single web app. For mobile it takes more investment and effort just to target specific OS or mobile devices.
Hello! From a Native Android Developer 🍺 I've been watching hitesh's channel from my 11th grade and here I am proudly being an Android Developer. My first online course I took was Hitesh's Android P course ✨. I don't think Java is still relevant for Android 🤔
@piyushkumar445 Most of the recent developments in Android is shifted towards Kotlin, the major thing is Jetpack Compose. Compose is the new way of writing UI in android, we don't need to write XML anymore. If you want to write compose, you only have Kotlin as option. Also, all the asynchronous operations are handled using suspend functions in Kotlin, with Java it used to be AsycnTask but it has been deprecated since last three years. To summarise things up, if you want to take advantage of all the latest-and-greatest stuff on Android, it's the Kotlin way.
