LITERALLY just finished this week's Podcast, and you guys bless us with this! Thank you so much! You guys helped me win my Set 3 Champs with your guidance. Looking forward to playing RA but undecided on a list until now! Thanks again guys!
i would say it's actually a fair matchup but basically the key is full agression and then Pat around the be prepared turn. If you want to improve the matchup even more you can add a couple of "bare necessities"
Locals will be full of Ruby Amethyst, which deck would you recommend?, not sure what to use, i am usually playing Ruby Sapphire but i will just hit a hard wall with a direct counter
Im playing traditional steelsong, but i feel like im having a hard time vs saphire steel. For me it feels like the game is almost over when a cogsworth gets on the field. What is the reason you marked steelsong as favored against it?
@@Goody2shoes389 fair question. Don’t really know the answer but conversion is a weird metric. Win rate might tell Better. Also keep in mind only one ruby am made top cut I believe but it won so everyone loved it. Stats are funny
I personally think it helps the matchup but I'm not sure about favoured. But that's the beauty of teaching a deck to be better in one of its less good matchups 😁
Sisu and shift sisu are a bit of a problem I admit but we should be fast enough most times to win some going second. Anyway thanks for the back and forth
Yeah this deck (diggy diggy hole in particular) is smashing sapphire/ruby it's not even close. you trailing at 10-12 Lore down before you even get close to online and then the recursive lio and the locations do there thing its all over

Happy to see a second podcast this week. Would love to have your take on lgs events as results become available. 😎
Ok. Question. How can steelsong be good vs ruby amethyst? I keep running into be prepared....

@nicolassauve1372 I was thinking about bare, will build them in. Thanks for the tip
I've been playing standard amethyst steel for a while now and I find the ruby amethyst matchup harder than blurple

Id say steelsong in that case, but im still a fresh 3 months noobie
My girlfriend plays Steelsongs and I have to work so hard as R/A to beat her lol unless I get perfect hand and start first lol
no john silver in mines is a miss imo, helps the BR matchup a lot

I agree with you, blue steel seems to actually counter regular steel song.
oh baby a double
A/S Mines is favored vs red blue imo. The aggro version does just fine.

@@kawatekyou are basically playing hyper aggro with daisy piglet and the gang. No time for simba and songs just 2 lore dudes. What could be better?
