Since when are putting this in your tanks . What was the thing you had been using as a replacement for this previously?
If you have trolls, egg them on with things that will trigger them, TH-cam doesn’t care if a comment is negative or positive. It’s still a comment and only strengthens your channel in the algorithm.

Brown rice is much better because it has not been dehusked as white rice has. the rice husk is where all of the minerals in the rice exist and whatever natural yeasts of the rice would also live there
This may be a silly question but would this also work for Aquariums with fish, not just shrimp tanks?
yes for sure, what I would suggest on my own exsperience is to just start a fresh batch each time because it seems to last longer.

the salt is for the bacteria to consume.

How often are you dosing your tanks with your lactobacillus mixture?
after a water change which is every 2- 3 weeks
@@MarksShrimpTanks You mention that the mixture lasts about one to three weeks. So someone with three shrimp tanks. Would they use a smaller bottle to make that lactobacillus or using that size bottle is important in order to produce a good culture ?
@@christophergonzalez6290 you can refrigerate it to extend the shelf life of the lactobacillus up to several months. The cold puts them to "sleep" and bringing them to room temperature wakes them back up.

I've done that when brewing my hard ginger ales and sodas. It makes a great little C02 generator that you can drink afterward lol. But definitely not for kids if it goes too long lol. My favorite flavor I made was a spiced hard apple cider. 😊
You could probably do the same with the lactobacillus culture just the same.
