The 3AC FIRSTSPEAR TUBES® Buckle Kit converts the 3AC cummerbunds front Velcro® attachment into an easy don/doff connection between the front of the cummerbund and front plate pockets of the plate carrier. With this in place, you gain the advantage of keeping your front flap secure and in position without the need to lift it every time you don/doff your plate carrier. MOLLE compatible pouches can still be installed directly on top of the cummerbund side buckle mount. 3AC FIRSTSPEAR TUBES® Buckle Kit requires zero modification to install on the 3” Assault cummerbund and is completely reversible.

Cobra buckles or tubes, which is better and why?
Tubes are so much easier and faster to attach/detach.
It's not a matter of better, just different.
Is there anyway to silence or reduce the sound signature of the tubes? They squeak during movement.

Sounds like they make the same 'clip' noise, why not use standard pinch clips vs. being 'unique'? Last thing anybody wants is to complicate the battle space with tons of 'unique' methods to get to soft tissue wounds...

What? Firstspear Tubes are standard issue on a huge amount of LEO carriers as well as being the quick detach method on the USMC's new Gen III carrier. I'm not exactly sure how that is being "unique"
