【护心 Back From The Brink】改编自九鹭非香的同名小说，二十年前，天曜被心爱之人广寒门门主素影抽筋剥骨，并以五行之力封印于四方。机缘巧合之中，天曜于十年前逃出封印，他感知一山村湖水中封印着他的龙骨，便隐藏在小村庄中，伺机取回龙骨。因雁回带有他的护心鳞而心怀龙血，能助他破开封印。于是天曜开始利用雁回，让她帮他寻回身体。雁回本意要逃离天曜，但两人不仅没能分开，关系反而越来越紧密，天曜被雁回数次拼死相救的义气所感动，雁回也在不断被牵扯出的事件当中发现天曜与自己斩不断的关系。自己心口护心鳞的来历，师父凌霄与素影的关系，扑朔迷离的谜团接踵而来……

tell me what’s the scale for romance out of 5 pls ??
In terms of writing it's about a 3-4? They don't give as many sweet moments as Romance lovers love. It's more melodrama than that, but this is kind of typical for Xianxia.
Don't get me wrong, the acting is pretty good, but I'd rate the chemistry between the leads around a 2-3--you can feel like they don't know each other well, and the chemistry onscreen never quite has the electric sparks you automatically feel from pairings such as Bai Lu and Luo Yun Xi; Xing Zhao Lin and Liang Jie; and Zhao Lusi and Ding Yu Xi. Chemistry of that type is very rare, granted, and it grabs you through the screen, but yeah, for most of the drama it doesn't feel as hot as say, A Girl Like Me, which, BTW, was a 4-5 for me on sheer actor chemistry. Neo Huo was also in that one--had higher romance, the second half of the drama in terms of writing fell off a bit, but it had a solid ending.
If you're looking for something high and sweet that feels a lot like romance without the xianxia mess, I'd go with New Life Begins from last year. Manages to give warm and fuzzies the entire way through.

@@dylladylla16 If you don't mind contemporary dramas, the same main actress was in "First Love" which has even sweeter feels (also uses her natural voice), if you don't skip ahead and know the Romance genre as expressed by China well. It's really funny especially if you've watched Qian Qian dramas and it teases out the theme of "First Love" very well, with somewhat deadpan and subtle humor. It's also Slice of Life in feels. You'd have to be patient with it as it sets up the trope, which makes you cringy and then comments on it by defeating it and giving you much higher feels (usually unbelievably funny or warm). The second hand embarrassment and warm and fuzzies are really high in this drama. 'cause you'll be on a hang over after New Life Begins... so this is a good finishing course... but the combo may ruin every other drama you watch for a while.
The only downsides are that it may have fallen victim to the imposed episode limit a bit, so the third romance line feels a bit cut (which I don't mind given the match up), but it works around it fairly well, and probably better than Til the End of the Moon. (The director feels really skilled--at least to me, since he managed to indicate the other storyline with his cutting skills.) And this is a drama you have to pay attention to to understand. It sucks you in once you get that it is playing on tropes. I could not do anything else while I was watching it because so much of it is visual one-offs without dialogue, or dialogue that you need context for.
It is 5/5 it is about love and devotion, trust and loyalty. About opening heart after PTSD betrayed by past llover. The CP lead so cute together on and off screen. Their chemistry is as good as Lilandi and CXX (Starry Love). Not only sad times also happy and humorous times. Try to watch episode 1-3 if you want, just give it a try
