- DUOS is an LCS anthology series that follows a few of the NA LCS pros in their pursuit to become summer split champions. Our first duo is CLG's Aphromoo and Stixxay.
The CLG bot-lane returns from Shanghai having crushed expectations with their standout performance at MSI. With the "Rush Hour" bot-lane now a thing of the past, veteran support Aphromoo and rising star ADC Stixxay look to make a new name for themselves in the NA LCS Summer Split.

Because Doublelift and yellowstar were not a good duo. they were two good individual players, but as a duo they did not perform on the same level as Rekkles did with yellowstar and as Aphromoo did with doublelift.

having a conversation with yellowstar is so awkward though. you should have seen the tsm hyper x video team Q/A where yellostar just kept bouncing the question to the next guy and stayed silent for the whole thing.

Godnion DL played better in the finals? LOL Nice joke bro. Go back and look at the stats Stixxay outdamaged him in every single game. I do think DL is the better player but Stixxay no doubt played better than DL that series and you're dumb to think otherwise.
Doublelift isn't even that good. Im honestly tired of seeing him smiling bashfully while shifting the blame to someone else. He seems like a nice and chill dude, but that smile of his when he's giving HIS viewpoint really pisses me off
kinda weird, aphro seemed pretty cut about dl leaving and said they had really good synergy but he was the pushing force to have peter kicked
Because synergy is not the only thing that matters
+Aaron Eckart's Ego i'm aware, but it just seems like a heavy contrast between how he adressed it here and at the time
Because, he was pushing so the team could be better, but he is friends with DL, but LCS is play time with friends anymore.
Long story short, Chango.
DL was a toxic element in CLG even after all the wins, CLG with input from all the members decided to remove Doublelift. Xsmithy wanted him to stay. Prob, left due to not wanting to be a sub. Huhi took up the mid lane. CLG wins another NA LCS title. Then does well at MSI without Doublelift. I think that says enough for itself.

i would be pretty delluded to say CLG wasnt better after the change, as well, like stixxay's performance in MSI was extremely good, i was only trying to talk about the way they talked about the end of RH, not whether the team was better off or not.

I haven't seen the synergistic plays yet, need more time. Until then. Rush Hour will remain the most powerful bot lane duo of all time in NA. With time Lethal Weapon will rise I'm hoping.

Aphromoo just seems like one of the most kind, encouraging, and genuine people out there. He's someone I'd love to meet in real life and not just for his skill at the game.

The more I learn about Aphro from a behind the scenes perspective the more I agree with Thorins tweet from MSI, Aphro is the most valuable player in the western scene.

I don't know what to expect from this Biofrost guy. I didn't get to see him play much. He is now a rookie.
I doubt his shotcalling will be superb because he seems like a pretty quiet person based on what I saw on TSM legends.
I think he tried out for TSM using Thresh, supposedly one of his favorite champions. He should've been on a more mechanically intensive champion.
They should have put him on backline supports like Nami, Janna, or Bard during try outs instead.
+MistahUnknown there arent alot of supports more mechanicaly dificult than thresh though
He tried out using Thresh because Doublelift prefers an aggressive playstyle in lane, and likes to all in. Thresh has one of the strongest level 2 powerspikes of all the supports for all in potential, and Doublelift loves winning lane pre 5 minutes. It is to be noted that he was there for 3 weeks, so I doubt they only saw his Thresh. Also, I don't think Biofrost will be shot calling. It will most likely be Bjergsen or Doublelift filling that role, Bjergsen has shot called for TSM before and Doublelift is one of NA's most seasoned veterans. Either way I think it's a huge upgrade for TSM to bring in an aggressive support for Doublelift and we will see a huge rise in his stats this coming split.

I think Aphromoo is the best support you can get as an adc (i am adc), because he is very good, but the more important thing is, is his personality, he is calm and keeps you calm and he can easily make you laugth. he is the best

I still think Doublelift and Piglet are still the best in NA LCS buuuut for a rookie, Stixxay is INSANE. He is guaranteed to eventually overcome Doublelift and Piglet with more experience.
