It isn't that we just beat UGA. We have to do it in ways that physically damages their souls. Blackout game? Get crushed, one pass away from winning the SECCG and getting a free Natty win against a mediocre Notre Dame? Nah, have the pass deflected into the hands of a UGA receiver ending the game. Ending a Nick Chubb's Heisman chances, 2nd and 26, the Jalen Comeback, keeping them from 3peating, and letting them *almost* pull off the greatest comeback of all time just to end on an interception.

Alabama vs Georgia in 2024 was by far the highest profiled marquee College Football matchup to air on ABC since the 2016 edition of the rivalry involving Michigan-Ohio State (which was the last time that game aired on ABC and will be the last time for a while with ABC/ESPN not having anything to do with the current B1G TV Rights Deal). Bama vs UGA in 2024 was being built for almost a full calendar year, and (at least in the 2nd half) it delivered. Game of the year, by far, up to this point.

We didn’t get conservative we got complacent. The trick plays are evidence that we weren’t adjusting to what they were doing we just kept going like they wouldn’t change things. They literally changed their defense before halftime and we didn’t recognize that. When we adjusted we scored a 75 yd TD. It was frustrating to say the least we should have made adjustments but we got the dub so I’m not mad but we can’t do that going forward. Teams will see that and pick it apart like UGA did.

Not really. Georgia was going for every 4th down known to man. Even on their own side of the field. Under normal circumstances they’d be punting the ball, but they were down so much they ended up capitalizing off of it against some rookie freshman DBs that ended up winning the game for Bama anyway. Those DBs are young and will be better because of that game. Defensively they are relentless and got more wore down because they were up by so much and it ended up making them stay on the field longer than they would have if it was closer. Wouldn’t worry too much about it
