Your gift with combining colors for depth and movement is amazing! The trick to control when adding the wave is great. Thank you for another awesome tutorial👏💕
Love! Love! Love! I also do acrylic pouring, so I watch lots of those videos too. I’ve noticed that I tilt my phone around to “help” the artist with their pour! LOL! Today I was shaking my phone so I could “help” you mix your spray paint!!!! I guess I was really in to the video!! Thanks so much for sharing your talents with me!!
They sale really fine sand & small sea shells at the dollar tree. Adding some of that while adding the waves on the gold glitter with a few tiny sea shells to make a 3D effect would be really cool. Tip tip 😉😉
So beautiful! It is amazing how just the right colors can make a beach tumbler look so pretty. I have made a beach tumbler, but it just doesn’t compare to this one. POG glitter is the way to go! Thanks for sharing and being such an inspiration.
I love this tutorial it's so great! My second time watching it and I love the ideal about weeding on the tumbler, it will help me so much. Thank you for sharing your knowledge
SIS!!!! OMG!!! You are just the BOMB!! Your tutorials are complete game changers!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!Bought Beesley on a whim, it’s gorgeous!! Head Over Teals is in the wish list, would Gnarly be good, love that one too!!!
I don't know if you came up with that weeding to get the tiny details and letters or if you are passing it on from where you learned, but THANK YOU for sharing! I LOVE tiny details, and this has worked FLAWLESSLY for my last few. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!🥰😊😁
By far my favorite beach tutorial! I have never understood why anyone would use such beautiful glitter and then cover it up with alcohol ink. This one is perfect! Thank you for such an amazing tutorial. ♥️
Absolutely stunning! So many colours make it 🙌💥💥💥🙌 💙 Its pronounced "LA-piss". Egyptians used it for their amulets and other jewelry. It is a rock called Lapis Lazuli(LA-zoo-lee)and ground up into powder it is called Ultramarine.
I LOVE peachy olive glitters. I myself am a Georgia girl and her glitters are THE BOMBDIGGITY. BUT, they are always sold out of everything. 😔 like everything. Makes my heart so sad! PS.... beautiful tumbler as always Jess. 🖤
Love your beach tumblers!!! So beautiful! Do you remember what size decal your Life is better at the Beach? I'm making one and mine is W 3.8 x H 4. Seems a bit too big but yours looks perfect 😊
Quick question - do you use different epoxies based on the type of cup that you are doing for the types of glitter or shape of tumbler? Different viscosities perhaps? Or are you basically giving a bit of advertising for epoxies? How do you choose? Such a beautifully crafted cup! Wow!
Yeah I use different ones for different projects but also want to represent options for you guys since i don’t think epoxy is a one size fits all product
Beautiful tutorial!! Always so easy to follow and understand!! Btw which foam inserts do you use for your cups? foam footballs or pool noodles, and how do you keep from getting spray paint on the inside of your cups?
I use noodles for now and if there’s exposed areas of the cup I mask it off with blue painters tape but it’s also easy to clean with acetone if some gets in there
Thank you. You can see how i make my waves if you watch the tutorial. I dont use acrylic paint or alcohol ink. Epoxy dye gives the movement and cells for a more realistic wave.
What a beautiful cup. The glitter is amazing!!! Thank you for these videos and making them look so easy to do. What is brand is that transfer tape? I really need those grid lines.
In this tutorial, I noticed u used 'weesley' and its listed in ur glitter list as 'weesley' i couldn't find that color in POG but I did see in your video a BEESLEY bottle AND POG does have that. Is this the same color? EDIT: just went through the old comments and found the answer! Thank u so much for all your tutorials. ILOVE THEM!!
I am somewhat new to this and I love this one! I am going to try to make it this week! Can I ask what you use the blow torch for?? I haven’t seen that before.
Good morning from MN, my question is this, did you clear coat your cup before you epoxy? If so, with what? And how many coats? Thank you for the videos!! I’m in the Facebook group also! I love it!!!!!!!
Is Weesley available yet? I can’t find it on the site. Would the chunky parabati work well you think? Weeding those small words on the cup is genius 🤣 I will totally be doing that now!
i think a credit card lol. i just use that to scrape over the decal so it sticks to the transfer tape. you can use a vinyl scraper or anything you've got on hand to do that.
When sanding the cup, do you worry about making the cup clouding looking from sanding? How do you keep the epoxy so clear after you sand the cup? Basically does the crystal clear shine come back after sanding the epoxy?
Thank you so much for all your awesome tutorial!! I have to ask, you said after 1st coat of epoxy to wait 4-6 hours, so do I not have to wait for that coat to be cured? If not this is going to be great for coating times!
No you don’t. I use Alumilite and I will literally go straight into another coat after 4/6 hours as long as there’s nothing I need to do first like a decal or sanding - then I wait at least 8 hours
Absolutely perfect!!! This is the best beach tumbler I've ever seen!

Thanks for this tutorial. Just made one following your tips and it turned out great!
It’s soooo pretty!!!!

Omg sooo beautiful thank you for sharing
I LOVE peachy olive glitters. I myself am a Georgia girl and her glitters are THE BOMBDIGGITY. BUT, they are always sold out of everything. 😔 like everything. Makes my heart so sad! PS.... beautiful tumbler as always Jess. 🖤
thank you! She's working on the stock issues. Due to Covid, she's having supply chain issues and staff shortage. This isn't the norm for her.
I understand that for sure. Well.... I do try to get all my glitters from her. I just LOVE them AND she’s local.
Love it!! Thanks for sharing!
Gorgeous!!!
I love it!
Love love love
Wow, picked up a couple really good tips! :)
Thank you for doing these tutorials! I’m new to this and these help so much.
this is amazing!!!! Thank you!!

Great video.
Thank you for the tutorial! This is super cute 😍
Love this, I use acrylic paints so I can paint inside plus its allot cheaper
beautiful!
Jessica can you do another traditional beach tumbler with newer POG colors
Love this!! I’ve been wanting to do one for a while.
Hello, awesome tutorial, after you applied the decal how many coats of epoxy? And how much. Thanks so much!
I think about 2 coats of 10-15ml each
That’s an awesome tip!! How you weed the smaller stuff afterward #Mindblown lol
Love your beach tumblers!!! So beautiful! Do you remember what size decal your Life is better at the Beach? I'm making one and mine is W 3.8 x H 4. Seems a bit too big but yours looks perfect 😊
I think this one was about 3.2" wide, i can't remember. thanks! !
@@FlynnSistersBoutique Great , Thank you! That puts me in the right direction.
Hello. Beautiful cup. Instead of epoxy dye, will white acrylic paint added to epoxy for waves work as well?
Yes it will! that would work fine just use very little paint.
I MUST try one, LOVE IT. ❤️ xo Melissa

I use noodles for now and if there’s exposed areas of the cup I mask it off with blue painters tape but it’s also easy to clean with acetone if some gets in there
Love this beach tumbler! Is it best to use alcohol ink or acrylic paint with epoxy for the waves? I'm in the process of making my first beach tumbler
Thank you. You can see how i make my waves if you watch the tutorial. I dont use acrylic paint or alcohol ink. Epoxy dye gives the movement and cells for a more realistic wave.
Love it! Can you use acrylic white paint mix with epoxy for the waves also?
yes definitely!
Flynn Sisters Boutique thank you
Thank you so much! I’m addicted to your videos. Is there anything else I can use for the white swirl other than epoxy dye?
Thank you 😊 you can use acrylic paint (just a small amount) or CCDIY armor art or white alcoholic inks
What a beautiful cup. The glitter is amazing!!! Thank you for these videos and making them look so easy to do. What is brand is that transfer tape? I really need those grid lines.

@@FlynnSistersBoutique thank you. Just bought a big roll but the tape is plain. Smh
In this tutorial, I noticed u used 'weesley' and its listed in ur glitter list as 'weesley' i couldn't find that color in POG but I did see in your video a BEESLEY bottle AND POG does have that. Love it ! Which torch are you using for Allumilite epoxy ?
I found it ! Thanks for another great tutorial!!
Where did you find it?
amzn.to/2X7NmDW and then you'd go buy the green propane camp fuel cans from Walmart or something
I am somewhat new to this and I love this one! I am going to try to make it this week! Can I ask what you use the blow torch for?? I haven’t seen that before.
thank you! I use the torch to pop any micro bubbles that are in the epoxy for a crystal clear finish.
Flynn Sisters Boutique. Can you use a heat gun as well?
Tiqua Upchurch yes
This is my go to video for my beach cups! Especially for the waves! I do have a question though, about how much pigment do you add to the epoxy?
1-2 drops. Very little
This cup is GORGEOUS! I am wanting to make it. POG does not have Bliss any longer Is there a substitute you recommend?
Nookie would be great. Thank you 😊
@@FlynnSistersBoutique Thank you!
Can you use acrylic paint or alcohol ink instead of epoxy dye for the waves?
Yes absolutely
@@FlynnSistersBoutique thanks!!
Finally yass...
Good morning from MN, my question is this, did you clear coat your cup before you epoxy? If so, with what? And how many coats? Thank you for the videos!! I’m in the Facebook group also! I love it!!!!!!!
For this one, I did not clear coat at all before epoxy. I did spray seal my glitter once before the first coat of epoxy. Thank yoU!
I love seeing your work!!! What kind of transfer tape do you use if you don't mind telling me please and thank you!!!
amzn.to/2THgMqb
Thank u so much!!
What do you mix with white wave color? Is it just epoxy and white alcohol ink? Or do you use white acrylic pain, white alcohol, and epoxy? Please help?
Of course, you can see how that is done in this tutorial at 10:27.
Love this, so beautiful! Any chance you have a link for your respirator?
Thank you ☺️ I’m sorry I don’t. As soon and I find a link for those they sell ouy
Flynn Sisters Boutique oh, no problem! Can you tell me which brand it is?
Carla Schlesinger Honeywell north
Flynn Sisters Boutique thanks so much!
Is Weesley available yet? I can’t find it on the site. Would the chunky parabati work well you think?
Weeding those small words on the cup is genius 🤣 I will totally be doing that now!
I think it is! I know I ordered not too long ago. I might have spelt it wrong lol. Chunky Parabatai would totally work
Flynn Sisters Boutique went back and looked at the pic of all the colors together and it’s Beesley 🤣 Got it added to the wishlist ❤️
What was the black thing you used over the decal before removing the transfer tape?
i think a credit card lol. i just use that to scrape over the decal so it sticks to the transfer tape. you can use a vinyl scraper or anything you've got on hand to do that.
When sanding the cup, do you worry about making the cup clouding looking from sanding? How do you keep the epoxy so clear after you sand the cup? Basically does the crystal clear shine come back after sanding the epoxy?
I use multiple grits, so the final sanding is with a finer grit and I wash the cup after I sand it and it returns it shine.
Thank you so much for all your awesome tutorial!! I have to ask, you said after 1st coat of epoxy to wait 4-6 hours, so do I not have to wait for that coat to be cured? If not this is going to be great for coating times!
