Bhai haps Cichlid require 4x2x2 normal tank exactly as you said. Usme ye HMF filter laga ke dikhao. Corner me nahi, aise hi. Itna ganda paani hoga ki Cichlids bimari se hi mar jayengi🤣

Hello. Will this filter work for a 4 ft x 1.5 ft x 1.5 ft cichlids tank with bio media. And instead of an air pump, I would use an 18w or more capacity submersible water pump for the circulation.

Got a quick question, how do we control and maintain Nitrate level. I do weekly water changes and also have pothos in my tank 10 gallon. Still my Nitrate level is between 20-40ppm. I feed my fish on alternate days, 2-3 pellets each fish, once a day.

@@MayurDevAquascaper I've ceramic rings and bio balls along with filter floss as bio media in my top sump. Lava rock is also used in the tank. The reading for Ammonia and Nitrite are consistently at 0ppm and pH is at 6.4ppm. It's the Nitrate that is worrying me.
@@MayurDevAquascaper I've substrate of 3 inch in total, of which 1 inch at the bottom is Amazonian Soil, capped with 2 inches river sand. Few plants like anubias, Java Fern and Sagittaria are also there along with pothos.
Mayur sir I am happy to see today's video I noticed everytime you use to suggest expensive canister filter which use to cost not less than 8 k but sir ppl like me who looks after house expenses along with continuing our hobby it's a super cool and fantastic idea you have suggested us because you also suggest us ADA medicine also expensive but sir can you make a separate video on medicine which should be bit less cost and effective too because In Bangalore medicine which we get in our aquarium store is local medicine when we use them no improvement in our fish.hence we lost them. Makes us unhappy Sir can you suggest some other medicines brand

Hi, I am planning to re-scape my discus tank which is of 3.5 feet length. My worry is, I do not have standby tank. I understand that we should not introduce fishes immediately to newly setup tank with fresh soil and plants. What's the best way? Should I got for an alternate tank (expensive method), or get a big tub and put the soil and water and treat and then take the fish out for 1-2 hours and re-scape and setup?

The water level may drop due evaporations then the pipe will be above water level.
Sir what if I use a submersible water pump and pump water from this side of filter to tank, keeping the pipe very little above water level? This will produce enough surface storing of water.
Even in your method evaporation is going to happen, yet you can use a pump if needed but keep the flow soft, also simplest method is to top up the water lost in evaporation
I have few queries regarding above filter if filter is similar in all respect as shown in the above video
1) for a newly setup bare bottom tank of this type what will be the time period for cycling the water (creating good bacteria) if neither seeding of good bacteria is done nor anything like "super4" is added just anti-chlorine is added (in one of your video of Hospital tank for "Discuss fish" using 4 inch diameter sponge filter 7 days period is told)
2) If only 2 gold fish of medium size are kept in above tank what will be water changing period (Days) and amount of water change (Percentage) if using just Sheela foam as a filter as shown in video.
1, One week cycling with bacteria and chlorine remover if required
2, weekly water change 30-40%
Will this filter be suitable for a bare bottom turtle aquarium
