We planned to do hampta pass trek without guide! So after we reached chatru can we get to chandratal lake by hiring any taxi or jeep? Or can we get directly back to Manali from chatru?

Bhai need your suggestions for few things, it will be very helpful if i can get a revert on this. Actually me and my friends have planned for hampta pass trek and we are leaving on 8th oct from Delhi. We will be travelling with our own car, so can we go till jobra and park our car somewhere there or we need any permit for that. Actually we are not seeking for chandratal, so the plan is like this- Day 1- drive from Delhi to Jobra (reach jobra by 1pm) and rest for the day Day 2- trek from jobra to chika or jawara Day 3- jawara to balu ka ghera Day 4- balu ka ghera to hampta pass and back to balu ka ghera Day 5- balu ka ghera to jobra Day 6- jobra to delhi We will be carrying all our camping equipments, food and stove as well. Eagerly waiting for your revert on this Thanks in advance 🤗
hey! you'll need a permit to park your own vehicle. till prinin there's no issue. also driving from delhi to jobra is a long hectic drive. what you should do add one rest dayin the beginning. reach prini on day 1. rest in a hotel and see if you can sort the permits. if permits are not sorted, park your car in the hotel in prini and take a cab to jobra. while coming back, call the driver and arrange a cab. that will be an easy and safer option.
@@bubaisahoo8391 I'm not sure if you'll get it online. I did some research but couldn't find any dedicated portal. I would recommend you to do some research on your own as well just to confirm. In any case, offline is still a good option. They'll guide you about the road conditions and if you are allowed to take your vehicle past prini or not.
Can I get a local guide from the basecamp (Jobri) to complete the trek if we want to do it in a group of 3-4 friends of our own and don't want to do it with any large trek group?
I would recommend getting these gears on rent from the village. You can ask your guide to arrange it for you and ask for rent of each item. That's what I used to do before buying my gear 😄❤️
Bro wat will be th expected cost of renting all the stuff like camp stove sleeping bag etc. Per person..also. the guide u told in 1500 is for group or per persom
