Finally! Injora has the wisdom to offer wheels for 1/12 scale crawlers. 1.3x12= 15.6". It's great that so many sizes are available, and that nobody has to run comically-oversized wheels on their crawler.
I've been looking at the carbon fiber ModuWheels. Just hoping they come out with a 60, 62, or 64mm tire for them. I don't care for the oil slick, looks like a rainbow. I would try to turn these around and see if i could get rid of some scrub.
Great video with a lot of good information. I want to get the xhx pin tires but I'll mostly run them on forest trails. Would that be the best choice or are they rock crawling specific tires?
The injora quick tips fit just fine. Also the 5mm mip driver fits. The 5.5mm is very close and will get a nut on but won’t fit between the hex screws. But again, that’s a BIG wheel nut (the 5.5)
The point? Of wheels? They give you something to mount tires to and then the ability to mount that to the trucks axles. They then rotate so that the vehicle can move.
Whats up Ken! i just saw you at axialfest and we wheeled and dealed for the servo, and esc and it was so fun thanks for being so friendly!
Awesome! Had a blast talking! Thank you a ton for the support both here and there!!! Literally flying back to Denver as I type!
@@TheShopMiniRC Haha have a great flight thanks again!

That is a great point! We can run 1.3s on some of the 1/14 and 1/16 crawlers as well. Just gotta make sure the hexes work. ;-)
I just bought a set of swamp claws! Really looking forward to testing them out in the real world.
They seem damn good!

The ability to change the offset is nice. I’d love to see a black chrome.
Great video Ken! 🔥🔥🔥
Appreciate it my dude!

They are not a rock crawling specific tire. Just know that they might attract mud in between the lugs.
@@TheShopMiniRC I see thanks a lot. That helped!
Great video, Love the tires, But not so much the modu-wheels just not a fan of the carbon fiber and flat design.
Totally fair. Would be cool to see them do some aluminum faces. ;).
I will never again buy injora beadlocks with the screws so close to the hex... getting a normal socket on the wheel nut is freaking impossible!
