Yeah I found the discount on Mothership 5 Bronze Seduction X Star Wars when it came to like $65 after taxes and shipping and everything I was thrilled that I found it for that price since I really wanted it when it was at full price (but I held off) I just love the colors they’re beautiful and the Star Wars esthetic makes it all the better 🥰
I bought the ND love palette when it was on sale in Sephora and didn't enjoy it. However, I've tried the Mini Star and some bigger 5 pans and I really enjoy her formula. It's simplistic and not overly difficult to work with. My absolute favorite mattes though are from Kaleidos with the Club Nebula collab. They're super smooth and after all these years they still perform amazingly. I've been tempted by viseart but don't know really where to start. Thank you for this amazing helpful video. It's great to see swatches and now I have a better reference in case I want to purchase. 47 is reasonable! Given you have a channel and love sparkles. I have 7 palettes total but like 20+ singles. I think it's a reasonable mix. Thank you for the video! ☺

Congrats on the Viseart PR! Viseart is probably my favourite matte formula, but ND and SG mattes are close behind - depends on what kinda look I am going for. Huda Rose Quartz is in my top 10 palettes, previously Mercury Retrograde. Love to see some appreciation for PMG Subversive and ND Pastel palette (although I hate the red and iridescent shades). I still want to pick up Yucca palette and Deep Sea Treasures. Looking forward to your singles collection video!
We have such similar taste!! I still have FOMO about the mercury retrograde palette, I didn’t realize how much I would love the quality of these bigger huda palettes😍 I might have to pick it up if they ever do a crazy sale again
@@seekingshifts yeah, all the larger palettes have much better mattes. Rose Quartz has the best shimmers by far, I hope they release a remastered Mercury Retrograde with these kinda shimmers (and no pressed glitter). I know she has remastered at least one of larger palettes already. About once a year it's randomly on Huda site for about $20 and the formula holds up really well over years, so it might be worth picking up. How long matte shadows last is a big reason why certain brands are my favourites. Viseart is top tier, ND is very good, PMG mattes are not so great after 3 years but special shades last forever! Lethal's matte formula is excellent and my (non-moldy, lol) Melt shades are hold up well too. I plan to go wild with BlendBunny during Black Friday now they have been around long enough, although I know I will not be into their shimmers. Dingy dirty shades are totally what I am into - I want to look like gasolina on rainy car park asphalt.
I only have 9 palettes, 3 of which are all matte ones. It's hard to choose a favorite because I feel like they're all a favorite in some way. Lol. But if I had to pick 2, they'd be the Viseart Petite Neutral Mattes and the Oden's Eye Hela.
I stopped counting my palettes and switched to a storage approach to reign in my eyeshadow collection. I have allocated 3 Alex drawers to eyeshadow. 😆 This approach keeps my spending in check and forces me to put a palette back in it's "home" after use which helps with avoiding completely trashing my makeup vanity every day.
I love these collection videos, especially when swatches are included. I actually expected you to have way more palettes considering how many comparison videos I have watched from you. I have tons of palettes that I am scared to count but I love them all for different reasons. I guess your single collection is pretty big, I would love to see those as well. Great video!❤

Have you tried using a white base under the shades in the trio chrome palette that you mentioned? It might help the color stay true when you put them on?
Can't wait to see your thoughts on the coyish viseart palette. PS: Viseart Paris Edit: We have similar pale olive skin. I picked this up not expecting to love it but thinking it would be a work appropriate travel palette....knocked my socks off how the colors work together and work with my complexion. If you're on the fence or even mildly curious I'd say pick it up
I just counted my palettes and I have 28. Or 30 if you count the Lethal Cosmetics one that I made myself and a highlighter palette that's more useful on the eyes😅
Oof yeah that dark brown in the PMG Midnight Sun is not good. The only PMG palette I own. I don’t regret buying it (on sale), but it doesn’t make me eager to buy another. That’s my PMG experience
Also: I feel like you underestimate your own skill. First of all, if you can get what you want from your makeup, then that's skill. And arguably the only skill that matters. But also, like, layering shadows and shimmers is a skill, and it's hard to do, especially with multichromes. I really don't later my shimmers at all because I find the results unpredictable and difficult to control. It's a skill of yours that I admire a lot. So like... You might have a different area of skill than some other folks, but i don't think you have less skill overall, if that distinction makes sense.
