    It's quite astonishing to see such a remarkable guitar come into existence. Well done! It did surprise me that you glued the neck since I thought they were typically screwed in. Of course, I'm not an expert.

    • @MagicAtticGuitars
      @MagicAtticGuitars  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks Jozsef! There are three main ways to attach the neck to the body. Bolt on, set neck (glued), and neck trough ( neck blank goes all the way trough the body).
      I try to avoid bolt on system if possible. In my opinion set neck does a better job in transferring vibrations from neck to body. If executed properly it can increase sustain and ad some character from neck wood to tone of the guitar.

    The way you build its almost the same way I do it too.. 😆 is it normal? The only difference is that I do the fret slots by hand and the radius as well, but pretty much everything else is similar… like the fretwork, I like to do it before carving the neck, 😁👍

    • @MagicAtticGuitars
      @MagicAtticGuitars  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If we both do it this way than is probably normal 😁 I also usually do the fret slots and radius bay hand. In this case I wanted to make fanned frets with blind ends. So I had ti use cnc ta achieve this. Thanks for your comment.
